Hi Erik, using an N gauge Hotel is perfect as the perspective of a building in the distance looks good. I am amazed how smooth and quiet your Lima 67001 runs, starting and stopping is very good. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏

When properly cleaned and lubricated Lima locomotives can run very smoothly. The N gauge hotel looks great and gives an excellent depth illusion, like the stage architecture in Palladium's Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Italy.

As usual you have set up everything first class the Lima locos are very underrated let’s keep it that way LOL!! So they stay cheap 🤞👌✅

Very nice video. The hotel is looking great up there, and yes... it would be a shame to use that wee loco as a donor. Sometimes it is required though!

The french loco is running very well! Do you have an alternate n scale plan for the Soviet version of the layout?
@railway1874 күн бұрын
I do. I have a selfbuilt cottage on scale +/- 1:120. It was already on my very first Petrushino layout, on the hill next to the crossing at the goods station. I think TT 1:120 is the ideal background scale for H0/OO, but TT-buildings are more difficult to find and usually more expensive than N-scale. And I like Metcalfe kits, so I decided to use N-scale on this new Persley layout.

can we have the track plan for this layout also? :)..its quite small
@railway1874 күн бұрын
The baseplate is indeed only 128x81 cm. Here is a picture from above: kzbin.infoUgkxM-AS-x5F_pdcWaSGWUukx9fy4rKgvK2f?si=Ot2EwMKw1uBeEsTR I have used Piko A-gleis R1 55211 for the "largest" curve and Märklin K-gleiss Industriekreis 2210 for the smaller curve. The turnout points are Hornby 8072 and 8073 and the straight parts are pieces of Hornby semi flexible track R8090. It is indeed quite small but I have tested it and all of my rolling stock runs good on it, even the longer wagons and locomotives. Thanks for watching!
