thank you for the videos Dr. Parker. I have question regarding the tongue slide. On that slide, it states, "these three houses taste buds." From my understanding of reading the text, filiform papillae doesn't have taste buds.

I dont agree with what was said at 3:49 because everything in the system is important including the saliva primarily because of the salivary amylase

They have no teeth but their saliva (which they possess a lot such that it even drips from their mouth) breaks down the soft complex food substance before they can undergo further digestion. You can't then say that baby's don't need saliva or its enzymes and its true for not only babies but for all others
