I spent ages unlocking the pulse neutralizer the other month and never got round to doing the caustic sink so I'm overjoyed they've made it available! Haha all good fun 🎉

This is exactly why I stopped playing right after the Titans came in. I had no interest in spending hours unlocking all of the bs parts that were going to be needed. All so I could run up against the next narrative wall that would then tell what other crap I need to get. This end of the thargoid war is just a very tedious collectathon.

My first dedicated AX ship was/is a Corvette. It's not considered the meta in AC combat, but it's worth it! You can make a whole lot of mistakes in a fight and it'll cover you

FDev finally came to their damn senses. It made no sense to build all this content and lock out 90% of the player base. It also made no sense to make it required to have caustic sinks to go to the Titans but you can't get the caustic sinks unless you go to the Titans. What idiot thought that was a good idea? Oh well, better late than never, I guess.

I can only speak for myself, but the loop for unlocking the caustic sinks was fun, and gives you some familiarity with what it's like in the cloud.

The was a good potential in glaive, but it was vastly overused and had too many ability. Too fast, has shield, lightining, anti guardian field, and FSD disrupter. Overpowered and annoying. Only one ability should be on one type, and other ability on another, like with scouts. That would be balanced.

To be fair, if you're in a mildly decent AX ship, you should be able to _splat_ them in about 30 seconds of sustained fire. (Although I admit - they _are_ annoying! Lol)

@@tigger4000 if you are in a guardian based AX ship, you are screw. If you are in a non combat utility vessel, you are screw. And even if you have good equipment, getting chain interdicted from them is suuuper annoying. It is a shame, because the combat against them with good equipment was good, as no hearth has to be killed. They just has too many ability, like I said.

As an expert AX pilot, you should be fully aware that avoiding the areas of the bubble where Glaives are active is trivial. It's a gameplay loop that only affects your experience if you choose to engage with it.
