Blood C was simply created to promote the Blood franchise... The whole thing felt like a teaser, much like the first Blood animation, Blood the Last Vampire just in a more colorful and mainstream anime style. For those who want more coherent plot, check out Blood + if you guys haven't yet.

I’m rather happy I found this, especially since I’ve never been able to make it through the whole anime, mainly cause it being SO different from Blood+ despite them being in the same overall series. At least now I get to know what happened.

He forgot to add that at the end, saya survive after years. Mana hasn't heard any news about saya, but the rest of her companions have been living peacefully and they tried to track her and find her, it shows that most people has seen her, and she's still alive and well, but seems to determine to defeat someone. I think most of her enemies, especially that twisted psychopath who love her seems still to be alive and that was not his main body (Just my theory).

In Blood + , the first Blood anime series before Blood C (although originally began with a stand alone movie, Blood the Last Vampire-- and please don't watch the U.S. live action film because it was trash), Saya actually had several simps 😂 I recommend it, because it explains so much of Saya's lore. Like where her origins started, why her blood has that effect, why there always seems to be secret authorities looking out for her, why she can't seem to remember shi, and how she ended up in Japan.

There's a plot reason for that, but you have to watch the movie and read the prequel manga starring Tadayoshi to fully understand it. Essentially, because of Saya's origins as an Elder Bairn who has sworn off eating people and instead feeds on her own kind, her bet with Fumito and her instinctive desire to protect humans she became weak and ineffective while under Fumito's hypnosis, it's only when she regains her true self (Thanks to her wish in Watanuki's store) that she turns back into a skilled killing machine. After the hypnosis is fully broken at the end of the tv show she no longer lets people die, that's why there's so few deaths in the movie, she's regained her true self.
