King Bradley didn't have swords that pierced any substance, his all seeing eye and insanely high battle-sense and reflexes basically let him man-handle Greed. He would cut Greed's arms off at the spot right above where Greed had hardened his skin. He kept slashing, cutting, and stabbing Greed to prevent Greed from fully hardening himself. Also the brief fight between Grimmjow and Ulquiorra didn't end in Grimmjow dying, it ended with Grimmjow sealing Ulquiorra away temporarily.

Slight correction: Sukuna and Gojo were not fighting to kill each other. The deal was that Sukuna would help Gojo if he (Gojo) could land even one single hit on him (Sukuna). So Gojo was fighting to first blood, and Sukuna was fighting to kill.

His goal in the anime was to find his friends and to protect their belongings. He didn't start acting hostile until after he was attacked. I'd really call his actions, after the fact, self-defense. Secondly, it is no longer a game, he is trapped in a very real world with very real consequences, and he (half accidentally and half his own doing) has been responsible for hundreds of thousands (possibly millions) of innocents without once feeling bad for them.

Bradley vs Greed is even more scary when you realise - homunculy are far stronger end can endure much more damage than normal human, and this exact one had perfect defence.
