If you want to get more control in dive, tis thing even has air brakes, thoug they block use of flaps if they are deployed.

seeing you two split up to make the enemy pilot choose is so nice to see. I can rarely get anyone of my squad to even fly near each other, its always a treat doing this simple defensive maneuver and having the enemy commit.

Not necessarily your squad´s fault. Don´t want to ruin your hopes but WT is not a game about 100% historical reenactments or simulation of air tactics, if you want that then go to sim mode or dcs and spend a few hours with people that want that. Most air RB matches force players to be selfish and they end very quickly. You can´t really get to perform any spectacular tactics, most of the time you barely have enough time to go near your squad before they blow up. Just the pacing.

@@danielzaba9913 a simple split of formation is not what I would call "historical reenactment" or "spectacular tactics". and that is my point, you *stay* together or at least near one another, it doesn't always work but that's how it falls sometimes.

It's a beast in Enlisted too. And it's BR 1. Historically it was pretty good, as good as an early bf 109. Romania just couldn't upgrade them to keep up and struggled to mass produce them.

I can attest to the IAR-80 & '81 being literal bullet magnet's for teammates: 49 Games in AAB and 92 Games in ARB in both IAR's (Same Lineup, plus the Romanian SM.79 & Romanian HE-129.), 98 of which in all resulted in me being shot out of the sky for no apparent reason bar jealousy or for fun. - I'm not a great player, 3 or 4 Kills per match, but I still deal with it... or respawn and 'pretend' to be a wingman then let them get shot down by enemy aircraft. Karma.
