So great to see. I’m curious though. When you grab him by his tail and you said ‘that’s spurring behaviour’, you weren’t worried about his spurs stinging you? (Is that the correct terminology?)

@KimVic23 When she says that, you can see the platypus bringing his hind legs towards each other. The venomous spurs are on those hind legs, and the spurring behaviour would be him trying to "grab" the offending "threat" with those hind legs & drive the spurs in. That's one reason why she is holding him by the tail, as that puts her hand & arm in a position where the platypus can't reach to spur her. But he's trying! And that's really good natural behaviour to see before a release back to the wild.
