I am absolutely loving this series. I am a South African and a die hard Springbok supporter. I always had a HUGE amount of respect for the All Blacks. I think it is safe to say our two great teams are the greatest two sides to ever to it. As such the All Blacks are the only side against who I can stomach a defeat. Losing always sucks but when the All Blacks get the better of the Springboks I can tip my cap to a well rounded and spectacular group of super athletes. I have a huge amount of respect for your team. Your great rugby history and what you have been able to achieve. I think the rivalry between our two great rugby nations is one of the most beautiful things in the whole sporting world. On the field there are 30 players going hammer and tongs. Off the field there is nothing but respect. I am also very grateful to the All Blacks. Simply for the mouthwatering rugby you have treated us to. I specifically recall Johannesburg 2013 as one of the best games I have ever watched. Or the 2015 Semi Final. What a team! We here in South Africa have the saying that you underestimate the All Blacks at your peril. That has been proven true in the quarter finals against the Irish. The whole world somehow expected the Irish to win and forgot who the All Blacks are. How resilient you are and why you are such a class team. I hope you guys took that personal. I would have. I think you did because your performance on game day was absolutely marvellous and the boys held nothing back on the field. I wish this fantastic team all the best and I cannot wait to see the awesome clashes that is to come between our two great teams.

@@michaelmoynihan9591 When we played them the score was 13-8, not a wide margin. We didn't have Handre Pollard( our first choice kicker) who came from an injury. We totally could've won that if Libbok and Faf didn't throw away 11 points. Go back in history and see who have reigned supreme💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 in all the matchups between the Springboks and Ireland. Yes Ireland beat us but whose gonna remember that in a few years time? All people will see is whose name is on the Webb Ellis trophy and how many times their names are there. South Africa: 🏆🏆🏆🏆 Ireland: Plus Ireland beat South Africa💛💚, New Zealand🖤 KICKED Ireland out and we beat New Zealand, so what about that? The North can't play knockout rugby and are chokers!!!!!!! Ireland couldn't get the job done when it MATTERED. We basically played 3 finals 3 weeks in a row and came from the toughest group.

@ ABs and AB supporters, if there are people here who run you down and purport to be Springbok supporters, know they are not true supporters; The Springboks and their fans have too much respect and admiration for you as rivals to stoop that low. A true springbok supporter knows that one day we are up, but the next we could be down. Truth be said, the dream of every sprinbbok player is to face an AB team, such is the admiration. Please ignore the idiots who wish to run you down and call themself a springbok supporter...true springbok supporters know better.

Cannot agree more. Any South African knows two things about the All Blacks. 1. You underestimate them at your peril. The Irish had to learn that one the hard way. 2. The game is not over until the final whistle blows. No All Black team will roll over and admit defeat. You can be down 15 points with 10 minutes to go. You win. 3. (As a bonus) The All Blacks win. You just win and win and keep on winning. Winning is kind of your thing.

As a South African, I've only have the utmost respect for the All Blacks. However, the one major difference I found between this series and SA's Chasing the Sun is that this series focuses much more on individuals with the players heaping praise upon praise on each other, and perhaps deservedly do. The Boks on the other hand kept referring to how they played for a bigger cause, for each other, for their country, for hope. Rarely individuals were praised to such extent as is done in this series. I can't help but wonder if this was not the small difference between the teams in the end.

Thank you AB's for being the classy bunch that you are. I thought you guys were title contenders and I was glad it was you and our Bokke in the Final. I was ar that French game. The ABs were 2nd best most of the night: pack were beaten in contact, direction from the halves was ordinary, onfield decision-making was clumsy, Mo'unga kicked poorly from midfield and missed crucial shots at goal, and the set-piece badly malfunctioned. It was a snapshoy of everything wrong with the ABs, and by extension NZ rugby for the past 8 years or so, finally coming together in one game.

If you don't have a good enough reason for wanting to win, you will not make it when it matters most. The 2 teams with the biggest Reason to win is by far the ALL Blacks and the Springboks. The problem with all the other teams is that they do not have a good enough reason to win, they lack passion. And that is what makes the difference when it really matters. To all the other teams: What are you playing for? Do you have more important reasons for wanting to win than the ALL Blacks and the Springboks? Where is your heart and passion?
