Just from a purely artistic stzndpoint, I'd say that a variation of rocks, (some more round ones) would improve this. Also more plants would help. I see that this was done 3 years ago, so I bet it has filled in. I'd love to see what it looks like now!

Thank you! Just finished a giant rock fountain and could not solve what to do with my pond and attempt at waterfall when I realized I didn't have enough slope and the pond was back filling ......this is my solution...smaller drops and flatter rocks. Could not thank you enough.

Looks great only problem is trimming those bushes under the window of house is going to be a major chore now, I think I would have gotten rid of the bushes and replaced with medium height ornamental grasses which compliments the waterfall. Looks and sounds beautiful another awesome job.

Invest in a cheap rotor hammer, it’ll save you tons of time and back ache when it comes to digging. Pond looks good, plan on starting mine when this Northern California summer decides to take a break. Thx for the ideas.

@@travisjantzer smaller water features that look fully custom but don't require highly specific landscape, tools, knowledge and time. The front yard stream and upgrade you did was excellent as well.

Thanks for showing me, that if you use flat rocks, and if you position them right " it gives the affect that its one big boulder. Big rocks / boulders are so expensive !

This particular Pond Kit used in this video is $1800 on the Aquascape website. Including the boulders and river rock and plants you're looking at more than $2500. Most of my projects are DIY however, where I source various supplies from different providers and I can keep the cost of a water feature this size down below $1000. For instance, a pond liner and pump for this project can be picked up for less than $500 on amazon, then I get my rock for free from my parents property, and I've significantly reduced my price.
