Yes, this woman is safe. The Chinese don't put up with monsters roaming the streets, like they do in America. America has too many dangerous areas. I love the Chinese people....

Depends on your definition of safe. If you are imagining of something related to criminal activities then no, it's very safe in CQ. You can walk/roam around in CQ pretty much ever where at every hour. Even at 2 am, I've seen many girls walking alone outside. It's normal to see.

Poverty anywhere is bad of course. I've lived in the US since the 70's. Sadly the US, a once great country, is definitely deteriorating fast with hundreds of thousands of homeless people living on sidewalks, under the bridge, near the freeway entrances, .. just everywhere. I see American homeless people eating from the garbage (trash bons). I'm not sure what your real motive is showing all these "poverty" in China. In fact, I suspect your motive is not well intentioned.
