You an keep energy stored in the Guild Quest > Prestige as well as Daily Bonus also, until it ends in 28 days ... yes ? Similarly you can store portal charges in Quests (beat the boss 5 times) also without collecting them for all eternity it seems

May be another way to go, is NOT to collect 'The Endless Adventure' and 'Anomalous Activity' manually if you dont want the Portal Charges immediately. That way, once the event is over, the uncollected Portal charges will come as an email as well (does it not ?) ... which you could open up any day in future when another event warrants them. You can compete other tasks as you like manually and collect rewards. Because you need to complete 30+ event tasks to get Chaos Particles 500 onwards, its any way out of reach until you are spending loads of emeralds any ways. Let me know what you guys think ...

if im being real i don't spend energy anymore - Peppy still needs stones but im so far away from being able to run another alt up after Titan chest event 😅 blue iris, blue kayla, five star rachne and the 70 or something soul stones left for the event went down by zero today because heroics are a waste of my life
