@HeroWarsCentral - Could you make a video on HOW AoC ITSELF COULD BE IMPROVED? The horrible event, not just the prizes. Improving the prizes, IMO, would be bad because anything thing to promote the horrible event without FIXING IT just hurts many many players and makes the entire game - as source of your income as well as Nexters, as well. Short term profits from AoC will not benefit Nexters in the long run and despite the cash-grab, overall profits have declined (as per their last quarterly report) and will continue to do so as more and more people fight their addiction and reject the game. It seems like Nexters is insisting on keeping it because of the money people spend, especially for the ticket (and maybe the Aoc Pay-to-Win microtransaction, IDK.) I know you don't want to be too overtly negative, but maybe focus on how the event itself could be replaced (even Tic Tac Toe or ANYTHING ELSE not 24/7 would be an improvement) so they could (very figuratively) "earn" their money selling tickets and stuff via another BETTER event. One of the biggest problem might be guilds that are used to be able to win having to spend huge amount of time which, if they "neglect" the game to sleep when faced with a strong opponent, just still isn't enough time. You don't need to give a more specific solution because YOUR FOLLOWERS, COLLECTIVELY WITH OTHERS, will likely be inspired to find one IF YOU INSPIRE THEM TO DO SO!

@HeroWarsCentral - It's upsetting to here you say that AoC is "losing relevancy quickly" - it seems to imply it was somehow a good event to start with. I know you know you acknowledsged that most people hate it, but big problem is that many people feel they should be playing close to 24 hours a day for 4 days which not only messes up their own "real life" lives, but even messes up the time that they could be better enjoying playing other aspects of Hero Wars itself.

I got the frost flag on christmas, just needed to get 8 (Around that number) of them and one of them coughed it up. Nailed the skins too, ALL of them, not just the winters but the solar and cyber skin I wasn't able to nail before. Worth it.

The value really depends on how high a level you get and how many Avissian chests. Gold & Titan potions are useful again. Absolute artifacts. Coins... I am expecting to get close to 1000 chests. That's a lot for $10 (I agree that the explorer's moves already are worth $10 to me).

Bauble earning is slow this year. I've all but stopped sending gifts as I'm trying to save enough to get the good ones. My eyes are on the ascension gifts but I'm also eyeing the hero of the day.

I did similar thing, for you these are probably best things, but for me it's currently pet gifts, since I need to develop my pets. I almost got all Winter Skins ( I don't need skins for Heroes I won't develop) and I got new War Flag, so I told my teammates to send me all gifts for pets. That's wht I think all players should do, simply to say to other guildmates what Gifts they need.

I dont often fully agree with Charlies assessment, but this is spot on imo. To me Ascension gift is the most valuable for a more experienced player - very good reward:cost ratio and these are often a bottleneck when developing heroes anyways. Augustus gifts have a very similar cost:benefit ratio - with golden ticket that is. But rewards are very random, so i prefer Ascension gifts. War Flag gift is terrible however. Its very expensive what you get out of it: basically 2400 emeralds for mostly 50 thread, sometimes 1 move and occasionally 200 thread. This is a small sample size i made: 50 thread: 18 times 1 Move: 8 200 thread: 4 Flag: 1 500 thread: 0 3 Moves: 0 Total: 31 On a sidenote, it kinda looks like Nexters screwed up the price of Ascneion and War Flag gift. If you check bundles, you see the War Flag gift as reward in the smaller bundles and Ascension gift in the next, more expensive one …

Charlie~ What do you think about reset rewards? 348 server user. Got 5,000+20,000 rewards for resetting winter festival rankings. The KZbin Olympus channel Zeus was rewarded with 2,036,712. But there's something Zeus doesn't even know. There's also a source that was rewarded with 7,000,000 from the Korean community. Why did the management do this crazy thing? It's the 2024 Winter Festival, so why did they reward them with data from the 2023 Winter Festival? The management said it will eradicate illegal users through a notice, but isn't this compensation illegal? I don't think it's fair. I'd like to hear Charlie's thoughts.

Gotta remember with skin gift. Once per day.. with the very FIRST of each gift type you give that day... you'll get one back in return. Having someone you can exchange with makes it a bonus for BOTH of you. Giving more than the 1 per day will boost standing, but wont get you free returns.

Heidi's skin is essentially necessary for her to be effective, as she needs the Dodge rating. I'd say you're not wrong that all of the rest are a bit more situational and heroes will be effective with or without them. I generally agree, especially for anyone who's on their 2nd-3rd or more winterfest that the skin and pet gifts are devalued (and the hero gift is just something you do for the dailies). The Ascension and War Flag are the primary ones for me, though this is because I value the Explorer moves gained more highly than some. Because I'm severely ratcheting back and controlling game spending, I just don't get explorer moves as much, which bottlenecks me on patterns and some of the unique special prizes that we get access to in the various islands. So, as much as I can get in terms of the War Flag gets me the chance to build up and catch up on flag resources, allowing me to finally catch up in that category (Because as you've said, once you hit a certain stage with the flags that's the upper limit.) Ascension is a very close second. I love getting Ascension gifts. But, I will also say that, even at my current spending, I'm working on my 4th tree branch being maximized and I have 14 heroes completely maxed in their Ascension resources and a healthy number of backups in Ascension Tier 4-5. I'm building up, less, my core heroes on teams and more my responses to various problems in the meta, particularly as my final cave into Dante is just about 100% online. I still need ascension resources, but a LOT less than I did, say, last year this time (When Ascension was hands down my 1st choice.). But yeah, those two gifts. The Augustus gift is GOOD (especially if you have the ticket, which I admit I splurged on.). I'm well over 100 levels. I won't need to worry tonight about energy for the next step. I'm squatting on all the energy potions I need to just outright finish that stage of the Winterfest, and that's lovely. The Augustus boxes have helped out immensely with glyphs (which is a time consuming resource you NEVER stop grabbing) and with absolute relic fragments, speeding along my slow progress in that category. It's 3rd, but not by much. The more I get of all of these, the more raw resources I get before the end, and ... while my competition gets it too? At some point we all hit that wall of "My heroes can only get so good..."

I would call Martha's Armor skin, Jhu's armor penetration etc. are GREAT though not game breaking. One VERY IMPORTANT thing I have noticed is that game gives you YOUR TOP hero's skins ... not completely RANDOMLY. This was a Huge plus because I though it was totally random and then getting some unwanted skin is a big waste for 20k coins. I dunno if I was extremely lucky this Christmas or game being kind.

As I didn't get loads of baubles due to game reset the only way to get enough to send the better gifts is spending money to buy bundles with real money which is not something am interested or able to do, sucks that most things are tailored towards players who spend than those that just play and do pay for anything. I got 20,000 trees as my " Sorry gift " after spending 15k+ gems, set off the fireworks, gifted at least one of every present and had a level 3+ Christmas tree, So was P'ed off seeing those that had the means and were top in rankings just get even stronger and keep that top spot.
