Not since the day I was married or the birth of my son have I witnessed such an incredible display of love and tenderness of a man's love for another human being. True art is can be interpreted by feelings and emotions. Trying to describe these feelings and emotions is like trying to describe a color. This was not just a painting to me. This was was an embankment in the inspiration of endearment. An avalanche of raw emotion from structure down to it's molecular core. From joy and euphoric happiness down to the pain hurt and tears that only this state of love and passion can bring. In short, such an easy word to say but yet the hardest thing in life to live. And in all that there ever was and all that will ever be, this is as intense as it gets. It makes me ashamed that i get so involved in the bullsh*t of daily life that I don't remind myself enough that no matter what the materialistic problems are, the gifts of love remain priceless and should be treated as such.

DUDE! You saw that in my painting??? Thanks so much, you got the words, I don't, but you do! I appreciate this very much. 🙏 I read it to my wife and said "see? SEE? I'm feeling feelings babe?" She said; "that's great honey, now, do the dishes!"... Sheesh.

When I choose my object for the portrait, I choose it based on a love/warm feeling to the person I am going to paint. Then, spending hours on a painting does not feel like a burden but the pleasure. Easily the most incredible photo-realistic painting I've seen created. So far beyond the ability of 99.99% of the artists out there. Your ability to mix/create the perfect colors is in and of itself astonishing. The lighting/shading are beyond belief. Makes one wonder if this is a trick or slight of hand, but obviously, based on all of your work you are a legit talent.

So Amazing!!! INSANE!!!! from sketch with a brush to this level of finish from scratch is truly a sign of a master. I did book illustration, mainly westerns, historical and as a ghost painter for Readers Digest. All my main subjects were traced photos from photo shoots, collection of images from mags, etc to create the composition with some free styling. Then dove into the paintings. Time was always of the essence. For me to draw everything freestyle like this would have taken me way too long. And to be honest, I just wasn't good enough. Sir you are truly a master. So Inspiring. I have never been a fan of photorealistic art even though I recognize the talent it takes. You already have the photograph. However, something about this is different. I'm absolutely impressed how you can take photorealistic painting and add flare to it that I can't quite put my finger on. Love it!
@kingcosworth2643 Жыл бұрын
It's funny, photorealistic is absolutely my favourite discipline of painting, I like that peoples interests differ infinitely. I'm a mechanical engineer but also a fabricator so a design and build many machines tools and structures from scratch, and outside of the engineering education I am pretty much self taught and brain operates in a very specific way, I am able to design, test operation, operate individual components to the extreme ranges to work out failure potentials, fulcrum points all in my minds eye so I can see it really quite vividly. What fascinates me the most about photorealistic is that there is no way I could ever do it, I don't understand how the artists mind works to take what they can see, and perfectly replicate it by 'drawing' it. It is truly incredible, very different to all other artistic disciplines where it's all either created in the minds eye, or with a closed loop 'trial and error' style, which is closer to how my mind works. The photorealistic painters skills are truly a gift from God. .

13:30 It's amazing what that tiny, little white dab on the eyeball does to a painting in terms of breathing life into the subject!! I think there's something about "eyes" that we're conditioned to really notice....a "spark" if you like....and how light interacts, but it's really well captured here by way of a beautiful subject and a very skilful artist....well done sir!!
