I feel with Chiesa, he reminds me of if you ever played Fifa single player career mode, and starting off you are young, inexperienced and have a lot to prove and in each match you have to hit a particular marker or match rating - 8.0 or whatever, and then the manager will consider giving you more than five minutes or ten minutes, but in those five to ten minutes you have to show what you got, and allow the manager to think about promoting you to the first team, and the quickest way to get to that marker is by scoring. Each match normally goes like the below Miss a chance - 1 Don't pass to a team mate - 1 Lose the ball for the fifth consecutive time - 1 Score a deflected thunderbastard in the final minute +10 🎉😢🎉 🎉😂😢😮😂 And all of a sudden you're considered a dangerous goal threat, and Chiesa has done that on each of his appearances But, let's face it Chiesa has gotten ten minutes here, and three minutes there so he has been feeding off scraps. I do not blame him at all for being prime Salah selfish not passing to Mané😂(although salah is still prime) Feeeeddddderiicooooo Chiiiieeeesssaaa Ye can't help but love his desire! And not to be that guy😂 but it is pronounced Liever bird instead of the liverpool, liver bird!!

Chiesa has now shown us what he is capable of. He had a couple of jinky runs and looks capable of scoring screamers. Defensively he ran his socks off , a man with a mission. Like others on here I could not recognise some of the players but it was a smart move by Slot : give the youngsters experience and give most of the first time a rest .

PSV already qualified before the game, it was nothing like that. Arne - rightly so - rested our key players because there was absolutely nothing riding on this game. We need our starters well rested, focused and ready to take down Bournemouth this weekend, and that's not gonna be an easy ride.

Thanks for digging this video out the defeat trenches Andy. The commentators and pundits all completely glossed over the ref obstructing Endo for their second goal...the small adjustment Endo had to make, was difference between him getting to the ball way ahead of their player, and the PSV lad catching him, which then led to the goal. Solid game for the underlings though.

I have decided to bring some order to this FKN YES scale rating system (FYSRS for brevity). 10 - Any goal scored by Nunez, also any goal scored that wins a game in the 7th minute of 5 added on. 9 - any goal scored from outside the box - or any goal scored against a team we really, really hate (Man U, Real Madrid, Citeh …etc) 8- any goal scored by BIG GAK with his bullet heading, any goal scored by Mo, Diaz or Jota 7- A generally accepted ‘good’ goal but one when we are miles ahead anyway, any penalty where it was bit soft. 6 - any goal scored that was a bit of a tap in. 5 - a goal scored in a game we lost- no matter how good it was (see Nunez exception on 10”s).

Chiesa was looking better on the pitch. McConnell also looked good and Nyoni looks like he will be a special player for us.Those are the positives. What the game revealed was 1. Danns needs to go on loan, he's not ready yet 2. Both our LBs are below standard 3. We only have 2 CBs, Quansah is really poor 4. Bradley can't replace Trent. Not even remotely, so we better not lose Trent 5. Elliott seems like he's more effective coming on from the Bench. 6. We don't have a striker 7. God help us if we get any major injuries because FSG has dropped the ball again.
