Thank you for this confirmation! Yes I’ve been receiving insights about aspects of myself that I chose to gloss over and not acknowledge. I’ve been second guessing my self and now deciding to take a stand for my views without letting the bitterness take siege. To truly understand without letting the beast within go completely wild. It’s a journey into my depths to recognize who I truly am and dismember the swords / psychic cords that have fuelled a lot of my decisions in the past. I’m choosing to sacrifice a “successful” career in art because it was built upon a hollow vacuous vapid system that celebrates individual success according to capitalist principles. It doesn’t align with my authentic self or my inner child. It rarely celebrates art from the heart and I’m realizing how mich wisdom and blessing lies in poverty. Being in this space of freedom means sacrificing what gave me material comfort, familiarity and continued to feed my ego rather than my heart. It’s a wrestling match in my mind and I’m learning how to have a dialogue without shutting out the persons who I was. They are subtle insights that are helping me to be ok with being curious and asking more questions while swallowing the bitter pill of seeing my past selves’ actions and now holding them accountable. It’s tough but I so desperately want to be free and want answers and understanding so that I can feel more grounded in myself. I so desperately want to be my best friend that it has also meant to suspend all my safety guards and accept reality as it is. To truly love myself is to accept my flaws and make wiser decisions based on these realizations. Can’t wait to feel the full force of creativity bursting through again! InshAllah Thank you! You summed up my insights since Libra season. I’ve always known these hard truths but didn’t have the courage to investigate or reflect upon my emotional responses. Been too ashamed.
