I got this in my algorithm today. I lost my job of almost 5 years back in late August. Today, I just signed an offer letter for a new job making $15,000/year more than I was before in a new field, which means I'm able to get away from the toxicity that was my previous field. I'm also graduating grad school in January and am almost done with all of my assignments. It's crazy how timely this entire video is for me!

After the election 2 days ago, half the country was elated and the other half of the country were angry and confused. Over the last several years I have been seeking to rehone my education in a way that supports all Americans reach an understanding of our current culture and society. The hope is to bridge gaps and create some mutual understanding for the benefit of all citizens. I'd started my doctorate at the beginning of the pandemic and realize I need to move forward on my path. I also need to find a school district to do my leadership training. I’ve changed everything except the biggest one that has caused the most pain - my job. I quit in 2016 with no savings because I believed the universe abhors a vacuum and would bring something new in. Instead, after being unemployed 2 years, I was homeless. That only lasted 3 weeks before I was offered another job that was exactly the one I left because I hated it so much. I’ve been stuck in it ever since. 😣 I’ve reluctantly surrendered and trusted something new will present in divine timing.
