A Prayer for Peace & Happiness for the Holidays and 2024

I've heard a lot of people talking about whether it felt like the holidays this year, so I wanted to offer up a prayer for peace and joy. Not just for the season, but for 2024 as well. I hope it's helpful.

Thank you for this message and let's all join you with putting out the intention that 2024 IS going to be the best year ever. And I have also been one of those that this year the holiday season has been somewhat melancholy, lots of memories (good and bad) of Christmas Eves of the past. Christmas will have better memories, but still thinking about the last time I celebrated with a "full" family. It is time to take back my power and create new happy memories.

Thank you Radleigh for that much needed & beautiful prayer. I definitely felt unexcited to celebrate the Christmas/holiday season earlier this month - for the very reasons you described..... BUT I forced myself to put up decorations & it helped shift my motivation and energy levels. Inspiration to be creative starting flowing in & I'm so glad I did. Love & Peace to all. Merry Christmas Rad! I'm with you, 2024 has to be better. I've been going around a lot this past year chanting to myself, "The Universe has my back," (repeat as needed). I'm thankful that I'm retired, pretty much self-sufficient, and don't have to leave my little farm very much. People are angry drivers, and pretty nutty. Unprovoked aggression. Usually this type of thing leaves me alone when I'm in town (in the buckboard getting supplies...LOL..), but there was one particular day when crazy angry drivers and a young lady in a woman's rest room had me wanting to run back to the hills where I belong. The young lady went out of her way to kick my purse. It was against a wall, out of everyone's wa,y as I dried my hands - she came out of the stall, smirking at me immediately, kicked my purse....and kept on smirking like she wanted me to pick a fight with her. I've never seen her before in my life. And I'm 65 - but in pretty good shape from farm work...still, is it junior high school? This still bothers me, it was so random, unprovoked....crazy.

Merry Christmas, Radleigh. I'm watching this on Christmas day, and I really needed to hear this message today. I started this day with such a sense of joy and love, and thankfulness for all my abundance. Then, as the day wore on, I started picking up bits of pain - not my own, but others. I felt myself slipping into sadness. As I watched this video, I realized it was because I feel so powerless in the face of other people's pain. As I prayed with you, I felt my feelings of peace and joy returning. Thank you so much.
