I wouldn’t call it domination. Jason had to agree to everything that Carly asked, in the next clip, he tells Carly what he will and won’t do. Carly also did whatever Jason needed, including offering to or helping commit whatever crimes Jason asked her to and telling the cops whatever Jason wanted her to say. Like Liz said in 2021, “Carly will always come first Jason’s life. She wouldn’t have it any other way and, honestly, Jason wouldn’t either.”

Carly met Jason at a dive bar. She had just come to town and was in the bar at the juke box and Jason came in. They played pool together. Meanwhile, she was seducing Dr. Tony Jones ( her biological mother's husband) at GH where she was working and going to school.

Lust, and then baby Michael That’s an oversimplification, Carly was the first person Jason got to know that didn’t know he was brain damaged, that only knew him as Jason Morgan and didn’t see anything wrong with him; that meant a lot to him. There’s a scene where AJ tells Carly, for the first time, that Jason and he are brothers. Carly doesn’t believe it because she heard that the other Quartermaine son is brain damaged and as she says, “there’s nothing wrong with Jason.”

@@7srchoed That's probably true, that Carly was the first one to think of Jason as 'nothing wrong with him' when it seemed every one else treated him like he was lesser than. I think that did mean a lot to Jason. But it's still hard for me to see and think of all the bad things Carly did that Jason tolerated.

definitely disagree but maybe that's because I dislike Sarah and Tamara for their roles in Days but Laura brings a certain strength to the character. Though Sarah did grow on me in the end of Days but Carly (Laura) sure will have to pay for the mistakes that Carly (Sarah) made in these times

Carly was never supposed to be loved...well she was supposed to grow as a character and grow into someone else. Carly and AJ (Kenan) were the strongest together. Had SJB left and LW come to play Carly with Kenan as AJ that would have been magic.
