So we went last year for our 14 year wedding anniversary which anniversary is May 17th but we went the weekend before and we stayed in South of the border the first night and the second night we stayed in the cave room and we absolutely loved this place! We actually went on a tour the second day we were there and got to see all but the cabin room and all of the rooms are just absolutely amazing! We are actually going this year for our 15 year wedding anniversary! We are super super excited we will be staying in the beach room and the African safari room for sure and then we will be staying for a third night but we're not sure which room were going to stay in yet I kind of want to stay in the cabin room but I also would love to stay in the alien spaceship room or in the artic glacier room but we aren't a hundred percent sure on what third room we will be staying and yet but we know that whatever rooms we choose to stay and we're going to have an amazing time! They have a gaming parlor at this place they've got the tiki room in the pool and spa & sauna and steam room downstairs and the manager Shannon is an absolute sweetheart she actually brought us a bottle of champagne for anniversary last year and then we got to meet the owner dick who is absolutely amazing as well everyone here is super nice and super caring and they truly want you to have an amazing memorable time that you'll never forget! Also I know I told you guys this on Tik-Tok but I wanted to say it here as well we love you guys me and my husband are actually addicted to your channel now LOL we have watched all of your videos over and over again, we never grow tired of them and we can't wait to see what else you have to show us! I know on Tik-Tok you said that you guys were possibly going to Trixie motel I cannot wait for that episode!I absolutely love Trixie Mattel I watched the entire Trixie motel series I'm so excited to see you guys go there! We love you guys so much much love from Alton Illinois by the way you guys have got to come here for a vacation, we have a few historical places to stay one of the places that you can stay in Alton is like historic bed-and-breakfast called Beall Mansion and then out past Grafton Illinois which is about 20 minutes away from Alton is a place called Pierre Marquette and it is amazing it's got cabins it's got a lodge in a restaurant and then you going to Grafton there's a winery and there's actually at Aerie's winery you can stay at one of their cabins so there's a ton of things to do plus there's so much history in Alton, Alton is actually one of the most haunted towns in the US and there is a ton to do there's ghost tours there's just amazing things to do if you guys need a tour guide I would love to show you guys around ❤️

You’ll have to visit The Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, CA sometime! Over the top themed rooms is what they’re known for! Edit: Actually the entire hotel is over the top, you’d love it!

Coming from experience of going to sunset inn multiple times over 5+ years, from wedding anniversaries, valentines days, to birthdays, it is such a wonderful experience where you don't feel like you're in illinois for those who can't afford a real vacation, this would be a great thing to save up around 170-200 dollars for very special occasions, or just because you feel like you wanna get away from the house for a day or 2 just to have a relaxing time. So far cabin fever has been both me and my husband's personal favorite room, this time around for halloween, we'll be going to starlight glacier and can't wait to visit 😊

Thank you!! They didn't for us, but we did ask that they do as much de-smoking as they could for us! I think that means they change all the blankets and run the air purifier. There was an air purifier in each smoking room so you can always run that too!
