Eternal and Almighty God, we lift our hearts in praise and thanksgiving for the gift of these new friar priests. You, who anointed Your Son Jesus Christ as the eternal High Priest, have called these men to share in His sacred ministry. As Aaron was set apart for Your service, and as Melchizedek blessed Your servant Abraham, so have You consecrated these, Your servants, to continue the work of Your Kingdom. We pray that, through the intercession of St. Dominic and all Your saints, these friars may be filled with the grace and power of the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus, our High Priest, You offered Yourself as a perfect sacrifice on the cross, reconciling us to the Father. May these priests always remember that they are called to participate in Your sacrifice, offering themselves for the salvation of souls and the glory of God. Grant them the strength to follow Your example of love and humility, that they may serve Your people with a heart full of compassion and mercy. Amen.
