Nen beasts can't directly attack each other or their princes. Halkenburg's arrow is the product of his nen beast's power; since he said himself that both his consciousness and body are considered by the succession battle, him controlling Balsamilco probably won't register as a loophole or make it an exception to the rule

One thing that makes me love Halkenburg in Benjamin body: His confrontation with Tse. Benjamin is the prince most despise by Tse. At the same time, Tse is the only prince that Halkenburg has a good relationship. It's two for one And i want to see the two most insane abilities, feom the succession war, clashing...

While that does sound insanely fun, the chances of it happening are minimal. The soul transfer is random, so IF Halk can hit Benjamin with the arrow, chances are a random follower will take possession of the 1st prince's body.

I loved this theory but with the reveal of the transfer being random...and the addition of how the soul priority works... I can't see it being Halk's plan, he'd need to keep Might alive and imprisoned forever so that whenever he sleeps in Benjamen's body Benjamen can't do anything to counter attack, afterall if he killed Might, Benjy would come back to his own body, stranding Halk in it without priority. Unless there's some stipulations not revealed yet about how this transfer would work jumping from an already possessed body to another body. Would Might and Benjy share Might's body then? Would one soul get lost in the transfer due to it becoming a mess? Would the rules change in some other way? Who knows.

⁠I may be off here, but I honestly interpreted the proximity of a follower being another limiter of Halk’s Hatsu - making his soul and the soul of each NEARBY follower an arrow in his quiver. The more allies at his side, the higher his likelihood of A) surviving a miss B) remaining in his own body with multiple shots. That IMO is why him walking down the hallway with his entourage felt so important. He had x13 total shots,, only problem was that he rolled a natural 1 causing HIS soul to be the arrow fired instead of another’s.

I think the coins serve the purpose of granting the user immense power at the flip of a coin. If you’re not on his side the odds are terrible but when you are, it’s almost a guaranteed power boost if it helps his cause. Almost like the greed island lucky dice.

my theory is that the coins dont loose their value when exchanged between people that are not not the prince... that way, they still can function as currency. and if they reset after going back to the prince, i belive paying the prince is the way to get the benefits of the coin.

They don't reset, kurapika gave it back to the prince and the pic changed but the value remained 1

What if Zheng lee’s nen beast power is like a prize vending machine? The person who holds on to the coin eventually cashes in and gets a random prize (a nen ability) and Zheng Lee gets the stored exponential nen power within the coin. An equal exchange of sorts. Once he’s king none dare defy him because he basically has almost limitless nen (assuming he eventually learns nen and develops a hatsu.)

i just had a sudden realization. Togashi is using Halkinburg's mind swap ability as an explanation of 4 kite number slot ability. implicating that kite did infact have something similar because he his life was on the line when he role the number he did. This also explains why Kite had his memories when he was brought back being so instant that he was himself. the kola back him when he says the body kite was in one that was similar or the same the girl he killed so in order for her to live being ant in the first place. The theory we've had about kites soul taking a new body is now 100% true. Now here the speculation- I think that now has 1 the same understanding of nen and its theories same as he did when he was alive evident in his demeanor. He was himself. However being a new body he needs time to adjust and figure out what his chimra body is capable of simply based on the fact that kite was a human. he always has been. there no evidence to suggest that he would magical know how to control his new body so when we see him what the first thing he does? Train. i don't think the significance of the weapon matter much but its the fact that combat and getting up to his body was the first thing he did as a child. Kite does not have the nen category he did originally. He is in a brand new body and one that was born a twin to the king no less. We learn in meruem is actually an emitter and his ability aura systhis was simply an evolution of the ants nature. The ant queen act people and life needing to eat dozens of people with the hope of that her children maybe possess aura on birth then we look a meruem. He was able to eat people who had aura and take them for himself and we see it applies to abilities because it works on shiapouf and rage man. i think kite has an an innate ability like the meruem himself what it is I'm not sure of. As for kite new nen category I think this new category is manipulation being meruem opposite to the raw power approach. We still haven't seen the full scope of manipulation like we have with other categories and it would subvert the idea of specialists become common. I do think specialization is in the cards as well as maybe kite possesses the same nen type have 2 or 3 separate conjuration abilities to showing his mastery and with his extra aura from being a technical ant king. My final speculation is that Kite may actually just be a manipulator and be the first we see in the story who natural turns specialist

@@frower-h2f That the fact a soul exchange ability exists might give an explanation of Kite's reincarnation ability, that once he's once conscious on this baby body he tries to train and recover what he lost and that his nen type is very likely to be distinct, making Kite most likely alive, but Crazy Slots is gone.

Togashi hanging so long narratively on Zang will probably have importance one way or another. like you implied. i doubt thats all there is to it so far we understood. Terrors focus on zetsu makes me glad because killuas implications about ging using a special zetsu never let me quite go. then again using anything but parallel future is most likely not on his mind. Halk does already get to himself. rolling dice high hoping he cheated well enough. but i cant see a well layed play beyond his current contingency. Killing Ben wont make this war less of a bloodbath either. Tyson is rather insane , fugetsu is dying , the kaiser faction is sus as fuck probably including silent majority,... what even happens if ben dies ? does the right to martial law fall into camillas hands ? ough

definitely getting t he feeling Halkenburg's gonna somehow go back into his own body and "revive" right in front of all his followers and generate even more passionate zeal form them all at once making him the strongest nen battery we've ever seen. then either A) the fan hype idea that he and Benjamin who's completely lost his mind and restraints without Might to hold him back have a mega insane DBZ battle like netero vs. meruem that Maryam has to contain in his pocket dimension so it doesn't destroy the ship or B) the much much much more Togashi-style route where Tserreidnich is already so storng by that point he's able to effortlessly trounce him before he does anything. not that he'd have a reason to since they're kidna allies but... you know it'll happen lol

Halk’s ability is so classic togashi man I think his plan must be a mass arrow hitting multiple princes at the same time to maximize his chances at being transferred(although there is the point that Halk may not be able use PA on another prince). Also I’m praying terror sandwich is a red herring. Im still on marayam as the one true culprit.

Someone plase tell me if I understood or not: 1 - when souls are swapped, Halkenburg's side has the priority in being awake, so if it is awake the other cannot be awakened even tho is in a different body; 2 - if the targeted body dies, so does Halkenburg's side soul and the targeted soul will permanently live in Halkenburg's side body; 3 - if Halkenburg's side body dies, both souls go to the targeted body where the original soul gains priority; 3bis - in case both souls are in the targeted body, the only way Haljkenburg's side soul can manifest itself is by putting the other one inconscious (I mean, being asleep isn't enough, is it?).

1 - as long as both bodies are alive, Halk's side has priority, yes. 2- yup. 3 - yup. 3bis - I believe being asleep also works, since the "minds" or "souls" still require sleep in order to function. Forcibly knocking the original mind/soul unconscious through sedatives is just a sure-fire way gain and maintain control (otherwise, the original could take back control at any moment). That's how I understand it at least.

One way for Halk to take the throne is if Halk or a follower Conjures a Nen Clone of original Halk's body, then uses Possession Arrow. Thats would be an insane Second Hatsu for Halk. That or he or a follower creates a Hatsu like Texture Surprise and or any other body manipulation Hatsu 🔥

He does seem pretty knowledgeable for someone who only learned Nen less than 3 years ago BUT he seems pretty "close" to his nen teacher, enough to bring him along with him on a mission to the DC. So maybe Izunavi (I think that's how you spell it) has been teaching him things still. Like Gon and Killua both needed training from Biscuit twice. Gon even phoned wing for advice at some point. So Kurapika having an active working relationship with Izunavi could explain why he knows so much.

He is the current de facto head of the Nostrade family and underwent a whole arc off-panel where he gathered the eyes of his clansmen. He's always been a bookworm, so his vast theoretical knowledge is fine in my book (pun intended), but it is a but jarring just how quickly many characters, Pika included, disregard all other potentialities and zero-in on the exact cause or features of a particular problem, despite there currently being an untold number of factors in play. That's why I'm hoping Melody and Kaiser go on to off Luzurus, only to realize his GSB wasn't the culprit behing Fugetsu's affliction (GSBs cannot directly target other GSBs or their hosts after all) and that they just killed a prince (a mafia benefactor to be fair), for nothing.
