My tip for moving, if you can keep everything on the hangers, and then in the new place hang everything backwards so then at the end of the year what ever is still backwards consider getting rid of it.

congrats on finding a new place! ^^ and rooting for you on your korean language journey because felt that heavy in my soul when you said it’s frustrating being in those settings and you really want to speak to your korean friends when you understand like 50% of what’s being said and going on but can’t say anything. my biggest issue is lack of advanced vocabulary and also because i haven’t been able to study consistently like i was me to before due to my schedule recently. but recently received opportunities on campus to help support me in improving my listening and speaking skills.

I am making it a priority to learn Korean (I'm visiting Korea in June, so I must learn the basics!). I'm using the Teuida app, which I love. I am paying the $14.99 per month membership, but it's helping me. I think it is worth it and it's very interactive. I am also using books and flashcards on my own. I'm just trying to stay consistent, but I am a procrastinator 😅 Knowing that you are on the same journey is motivating me 💕

Love that you found the place you needed. When you come back from Hawaii will you start to sell the items you're not moving? Will the new place have an oven? I forgot to mention I subscribed to or am watching all of the free Spanish vlogs on the different social media platforms I have. It's definitely reinforced what I remembered and I've picked up a few new to me expressions. I think watching at least one a day has reinforced the sound of the language. I won't be fluent but I will understand more.

I am doing TTMIK core grammar and I also have the learn Korean with TinyTan and BTS book kits. I still struggle with hangul sometimes, but I finally made it from level 1 to level 2 in January. I'm on a discord server that has deadlines for turning "homework" in, and it focuses on grammar and writing which I think has helped me as I would go months without studying before I joined that server.

A great way that I save tons of money is going to thrift stores. I have gotten coats and sweaters. I even found a new cast iron skillet! It would be cool for you to show us how the thrift shops are over there.
