I really love seeing other mermaids who care about the ocean. Believe it or not, many mermaids do NOT care about the fish.. I swim in an aquarium with lots of beautiful tropical fish and am very careful to research makeup and costume pieces that I use (to ensure the fish are happy and safe) but in the past many others were purposefully putting on unsafe glitters, lotions, etc. Even after being told it was bad for the tank. Those mermaids eventually got fired (thankfully). I just cant imagine putting my vanity above the wellbeing of the fish. We are in THEIR space. I also see a lot improper fish handling and coral touching 😬

Devon Young they call it seaweed based but I believe it’s just synthetic mica that is bonded with a seaweed agent so it’s ethically sourced and biodegradable. Definitely cool although I guess it possibly wouldn’t hold as well in makeup.

theres many videos of mermaids, they are cool and stuff but its like paddling in the pool, singing, etc, meanwhile this badass mermaid is like, i know CPR, first aid, im a lifeguard, i free dive, scuba dive, marine ecolgy certified, just learnt to swim 4 years ago. Super badass.
