Id love to see this in extreme depth. Routing of hoses, where certain parts have been relocated, custom brackets, ect. after seeing this compared to a stock setup intake manifold.... it looks so clean

hey Josh, any chance you could do a complete pre-built long-block install with every detail required including dropping in the engine for us DIY-ers? Maybe create a learning video playlist and break it up into a series? I'm talking about every single step from start to finish with every minute detail :) - (accessory mounts, oil pump, oil pan & pickup, water pump, timing cover, timing belt, fuel system, clutch and flywheel, intake manifold, coolant res relocation, engine mounts, wiring/ground locations, torque specs, etc.) I think this would be some great content and it would add another dimension to you already fantastic channel!

Looks and sounds good. There is an option in the gopro editing software to remove the fisheye look, you may want to do that before you dump the file into your main editing program.

Any turbo that sounds like a startled, 30 pound pigeon, is a good turbo! I like the gopro for pov, but the lens feel a bit fishbowl otherwise. Not that your production quality ever stopped me from watching before. So much good info 🤙

Running my favorite manifold the AMS long runner no TGV deletes needed with that setup. Video and sound quality good for me. I'm sure it'll only get better after you get those mounts.

Same here 2018 STI and recording and not yet posted all the parts yet. I have 1300cc, IAG TGV Deletes, FP black, 84mm turbo inlet, AEM fuel Pump and have never done anything like that before so your more then welcome to watch me struggle once I post as I am uninstalling all the stock part. Funds wise its extremely expensive. When I got my IAG kit fuel lines and 1300CC with there TGV Deletes cost me almost 2500k and no flex fuel which that alone would be another 600 on top.

Switch the GoPro to linear for vlogging. I would recommend the Sennheiser AVX wireless lavalier mic's with the gopro as well (that's what I use and they look better than the Rode lav's). I went with Brentuning and had no issues on my 420 WHP sti with Cobb 20G and flex fuel stage 3+ custom tune.

GoPro's are decent. Wind noise wasn't bad, focusing was good, image quality not as good at the big camera but still fine. Frame rate seems low, like 24fps or something. I would like to see some 1080p @ 60fps :D

Looks almost the same as my current setup on my 15 Sti. Used the FP 84mm Turbo inlet with an AMS Manifold as well. Stock block. Made 400awhp and 348awtq. I have a video on my channel 😬

Kinda of a strange question, at what power number would you consider a closed deck block? Could I make 500 reliably on the stock block 2013 wrx but with forged internals, and built heads, FP black, ID1300’s, big FMIC, EL headers, external wastegate, EBCS and E85? STi 6 speed trans.
