@Savvi C Yeah i agree. And the reality is that as much as we might think Tayshia deserved her own full season, if this hadnt happened she likely wouldnt have gotten any season at all. So i honestly think she lucked out that things worked out as they did. Its still a great opportunity for her. And really Clare only got kind of close to 2 of the remaining guys. (I do hope they bring back some guys though, so that she has more options.) But I do think this is a great group of guys. None of them seem like theyre totally fake or douches. Anyway I'm hopeful she meets her match. I think theres a good chance of it. Shes such a catch. I know there are going to be guys excited when they see her walk in. Cant wait to see it. 😊

Dale looked like a deer in headlights when he learned he was expected to propose. They just learned the names of each other's parents the night before- I know this show rushes a relationship during a typical season, but even I didn't expect him to propose immediately after their confession of feelings toward each other. I thought it would be done on an ATFR (or whatever it'll be this year since the virus has made filming difficult) or in a follow-up special.

When Clare was telling him how she felt i swear Dale looked like he was terrified. Lol. I may just be reading something that wasnt there but his face was completely blank and it looked like he was at a loss for words. He even gulped at one point. I really hope he IS actually in love with her and not just telling her what she wants to hear to benefit from the publicity. If theyre still together a month after the magazine covers and talk show appearances then ill be convinced it wasnt all for clout. But its just so hard to tell when this guy barely knew her and got pushed into proposing SO quickly. I really felt for him because the show itself (producers) had no shame in urging him to propose. I really think the engagement could have waited.

I agree. Chris made it seems like she just wanted to have a one on one with you instead. He even nervous laughed when Chris said she broke up with the other guys. Ive noticed this is his m.o. from earlier scenes. Like when he was comforting Clare and she said Yosef claimed the men were just appeasing her. When she told Dale that and asked if that was true he actually laughed and said something like "what!? No!" He played it off like it was so silly it was laughable but i wasnt buying it because it was a odd thing to laugh at. Then.....he confirmed for me that he laughs or chuckles when hes nervous or lying when on the group date he smiled and tried not to laugh as he lied to the men about "accidentally " walking in on Clare. Since i knew he was lying then it made it clear that laughing is one of his coping mechanisms when hes lying or nervous. Honeslty the producers annoyed me for putting him in that awkward situation. THEYRE the ones who were pushing an engagement. They always want that if they can get it because they know viewers want it. However, in this situation i personally didn't. It was way too rushed and theres no way Dale didnt feel pressure. He didnt want to be just another guy letting her down, but at the same time he barely knows her!!!! I mean this show is alreasy rushing a relationship as it is, but only 2 wks!!! It crazy. I really felt for him in this episode. But at the same time I wonder how genuine he is. Was he just filling the part? Either way i hope they work out. I just dont have a lot of faith.

I really don't think clare and dale are going to work out. I was watching their conversations, and he seemed so uninvolved. For every 50 words she said, he probably said 5. A lot of his responses were him "uh-huh" ing and "yeah" ing along with her. He was probably hoping to get far enough to be contending to be the bachelor and ended up having to propose to her to save face. Plus, clare has a hair trigger temper. On top of that, she built him up as "perfect" over and over again. The second he takes too long to respond to a text one time or forgets to take the dog on a walk she's going to start a fight with him.

Based on the clothing the guys and CH were wearing when Clare broke up with them and the clothing they were wearing when it was supposed to be "24 hours later" with CH letting the guys know Clare and Dale had gotten engaged the night before and a new Bach was on her way...CH was telling the guys that Clare and Dale had gotten engaged and left the resort before Dale even knew he was expected to propose. Those scenes were such franked-scenes, with little bits and pieces all spliced together by producers.

The proposal really got me. It was painfully obvious that dale wasnt ready for that. If I was Clare, i would have been ok if Dale said “hey, take a leap of faith with me; lets leave and work this out privately” and then maybe they could do a proposal at the end of the season/check in. But i guess that defeats the purpose of the show? Idk just seemed so disingenuous to me
