This season taught me that the villain of a season won't always just be the worst person of the bunch, but it depends more on the situation. Shanae became the villain on her season for implying Elizabeth's ADHD made her a bad person, and everything afterwards was in response to the others not liking her from that. In this situation she's not target number 1 anymore so she can stand on equal ground with everyone else. Then it turns out Genevieve and Kate both have a lot in common with her and are arguably worse. Had Clayton's season played out different, any of them could've been the villain, and that's probably the case for many seasons before this too.

i can’t view eliza as a villain like a lot of the franchise does. I see a confused, naive, maybe even immature young woman who’s never had two guys after her before. She had maybe a day to choose between two guys she barely knew, chose wrong, embarrassed them and herself, and was hurt by it. Did she mess up. Oh yeah. Is she a bad person? I don’t buy that. She hurt 2 men who may have wanted a future with her (unpopular opinion: yes, Justin I think really did like her and I'm glad he rejected her). She needs to get over herself. They both deserve better. She's an immature, manipulative, gas lighter and she needed to be called out. Can't be playing victim either. In a weird way, Logan should be grateful to Kate, the edit could rally have gone badly for him (with Shanae, Gabby and Rachel also all taking swipes at him) but Kate was so awful that I wound up really liking him and want to see him in the next Paradise, I did not see that happening at all and he very easily could of had a villain arc.

You’re so right! He totally looked like an indecisive child going from woman to woman just like with Gabby and Rachel. However, Kate ended up being such a monster that his shenanigans were completely overshadowed. And I mean, honestly, it is paradise. It is pretty appropriate to date around. However, I don’t know if I’ve seen anyone date as many women or be as indecisive as Logan. It didn’t seem like he was truly trying to find his best match. Seemed more like he was constantly looking for something better to come along which is very different. In any case, oh boy did Kate really give that boy a get out of jail free card. Her behavior plus his well thought out response to it put in back in the positive column for sure.

Victoria was confusing & frustrating to watch on Peter's season. Why producers brought her back at the expense of everyone is disappointing. Just when we thought she had changed, she shows us she's still very much the same. She never really owned up to her past misgivings so it'd be difficult to grow & change without that. She has some serious deep rooted issues that need to be handled the right way, as seen in how she jumps from guy to guy (some married to her best friends) like nothing. Before she seriously evaluates herself and takes proper action, unfortunately, many will be collateral damage along the way.
