The client should have left it alone the first time because once the bangs were cut more, then her thin hair on the sides were exposed therefore making the hairstyle appear to not look as realistic or natural. So now she has this head full of thick hair with thinning sides. She should've trusted your process.

It sounds like Carla did what the client asked...In her voice-over she said the client wanted more of her hair visible on the sides where it was slicked down. It looks great both ways but i loved the more full bangs as well as the shorter ones. You're right, she is so talented.

Ms. Carla you are an amazing artist. It looks like this client needs to do the big chop in my unprofessional opinion. I have found that cutting my hair all the way down and allowing the sun to stimulate my scalp has made my hair grow even in bald spots.

While i agree with most of the commenters, Carla you are truly blessed with gifted hands, i think there was wayy to much product used to create what is ultimately a high ponytail with bangs. Im sweating just thinking about the wrap sheets, spritz, hair glue, heat and loads of hair. That said, you are ahmaziing in your chosen craft. I especially enjoyed how confident you were in every movement, snip of the shears. That alone speaks volumes to your level of professionalism, particulary in listening to your client. Ive often heard the expression from other hair stylists "Im a beautician, not a magician". 😂😂 Well Madame Carla you are all that and a bag of chips + soft drink. I am in awe 🫢 watching this video, now I see why it costs so much to get some professional weave hairstyles done. It takes a lot of time, products, tools and effort to doing it. I watch the video in its entirety and it was so amazing and interesting. GLAD I came across this vid! I have the SAME issue going on! My edges and my middle area has THINNED extremely due to BRAID wearing. In attempts to wear "protective" styles over these last few years - it has really been to the detriment of my hair. Now once again for the umpteenth time, trying to desperately grow back my hair and edges. NO more braids - I'm better off with a few pieces of weave!

I was known for a pony tail and a bang back in the day. My stylist used to doobie my ponytail. Cut it in layers, roll and set it, then still bump it with the irons. Never left it straight. It was beautiful. Your bang skills are tight.
