A PSA to All Furia Players... (Paladins Fernando Ranked)

Furia has gotten a LOT of talent reworks over the past two years. Her meta has fluctuated multiple times, and that has lead some people to be confused about the correct way to play her in 2024 - especially if they've left the game for some time. In this video, AndrewChicken encounters one such confused player in ranked who didn't know about the Solar Blessing meta nor the rejuvenate rework! So, let this match serve as a PSA to all Furia players: play Solar Blessing and buy Rejuvenate!

Hi-Rez needs to stop changing the effects of things without changing the name. The other day I saw a tank buying rejuv for more healing because he hadn't played in a while and didn't realise the effect had changed. They should change the name and icon if they want to completely change the effect.

Lol I made this same mistake when I came back to paldins. Someone in game had to flame me before I realized rejuv changed.

@@linmayo790 If you see rejuv in the item shop, you might just buy it without reading the description because you think you already know what rejuv does. For a while after sentinel was introduced I had to remind myself that it wasn't illuminate. Even now I mix up lethality and trigger scent because the icon for lethality is the same as the old item aggression which increased your damage dealt.

Feel like as a band-aid fix, they should give Cherish a second charge until they can make it good and actually apply the cards effects

i remember having a cherish furia and i was skye so i decided to go healer skye, we did pretty much the same healing and gladly we won, i want to think it was thanks to that extra healing i provided

what if along side the aoe healing(its needs a buff tho bc you never notice it) what if it increased the jump height of healed allies (and maybe also furia's)

Most people probably don’t even realize there is a patch note or where to look even tho it’s in the the little slide show thing on Home Screen. Tbh Iv been saying they should add some kind of pop up that you get when you first load up the game that tells you all the changes they make. (Obviously you would only receive it one time so it’s not annoying)

Mr. Paladins, cherish Doesn't work most of the time. I was the one who came up with the idea in paladins discord to increase the AoE Range from 35 to 50 units, but most of the time it Doesn't work even in 10 units range. So, Eithier they make it the AoE itself goes through walls (because sometimes the AoE does connect 1 sec later, and walls & objects Completely screw the timing) or it gets completely reworked. So, can you Talk with the paladins Team about that? Thanks! Also read the replies under this Comment.

I noticed that cherish works like seris aoe healing, if you heal a player as seris even if there a player next to them it sometimes doesn’t spread bc they move like 1 second behind a wall, this is with seris aoe healing card max out, you have to make sure both player are in LOS next to each other for it to spread. Instead of increasing the range of the aoe heal they should make it that it leaves a small radius when you heal a player and anyone within the radius get the heal too.

@@Jack.Martson funny enough, that Moji realm runner area heal field idea for cherish was one of my basic ideas, but it could be too OP since it can be spammed every 3rd second, unless the previous field will vanish for the new one (only 1 heal field at time). This could actually work, if its executed right.

maybe the andro died 14 times because the flank who isnt usually grouped up with the team didnt receive the weak aoe heal from cherish.. just a thought

I would love to pplay paladins a lot more but - for me anyway - it takes forever to get into comp game. I usually find the Euro servers are a bit quicker in finding a game. I stopped playing about two weeks ago when i waited 20mins to get a comp game and then halfway through picks someone left. And i logged off 😢

They changed it so now it increases any healing you do expect for life rip, so for example healer skye can heal much more, and you can pair kill to heal with new reju to increase the healing as well, it offers a lot of new opportunities for different champions.

I don't understand what's wrong with cherish. Could someone explain it to me? Is the heal beam better even if you can't aim to put it where you want it?

The base heal from right click is the same in cherish and any other talent.. it doesn't provide any bonus healing unless people are grouped up (which is situational at best) and even then the beam can just heal more in both single and group situations amd behind walls with good map knowledge.. "not knowing how to position the beam" is not a valid excuse, people can learn and work on their beams but they cannot play cherish a 100 times and somehow increase its healing. Especially in ranked, when it casuals idc if we have 5 dps or solo focusing lens ying as a healer or something not ideal..

if you can communicate, especially with a tank, all you need to do is get the beam close, then manual stop. granted, this is difficult if you play alone, but genrally using mic to say "hey tank, move 2 steps to the left for beam" is worth a shot. as for why cherish is bad, imagine having worse seris aoe heals

wdym you cant aim it? you can press the beam button again and stop it near your tank, and if your tank isnt bad he will go into it if you didnt stop it too far from him. And it is a lot of healing when uncauted, bringing teammates to full HP almost instantly. Cherish simply doesnt compare, not to mention it barely helps since how often are your teammates that close to benefit from the AoE? The AoE which doesnt heal that much anyway. Pip's base potion with no talents does better healing than cherish. Think of the heal beam like a Damba Gourd and how bad Damba would be without it.
