The first Lethal Weapon was the only one where Gibson's character was truly on the edge and had nothing to lose. After that he had Glover's character's family to ground him. That's what made the first one such a gem. It wasn't that the others weren't entertaining, they were, but that one made Gibson so believable. The look on his face when he has the gun to his head and Glover blocks the firing pin with his hand. That was tension. Just excellent 👌

I watch this movie every year on Thanksgiving Day!!! I only watch this movie once a year. And every time I watch this movie, it stays fresh in my mind!!! This movie is so great it doesn't need or have a remake.

The 'lethal weapon' films are probably my favourite of all time. Mel showed so many different aspects to his character and was brilliant at playing the part. I can't remember how many times I've watched this film, but it's a hell of a lot! 🙂
