Splat! So happy to see you play 9 Kings. We appreciate your notes and wrote all of them down. The post-game is definitely a WIP at the moment, and tile expansion is something that's definitely in the works (we've been experimenting with it being part of the meta-progression side of the loop). We're sorry you ran into that unit freezing bug. We've been so caught up working on the new decks that we completely let this bug slip by. No excuses though-we're rushing a fix asap. For whatever it's worth, this very annoying bug is fairly uncommon, so you can still play and actually unlock the King of Greed and new difficulties in the current build. There are many QoL improvements in the works too, and you said it well-the main goal of this early version is to gather feedback like yours to improve our balancing and finesse design choices. Thanks for all your inputs and the space. Looking forward to sharing the newest updates with you!

Sometimes at the start of a round everything just stops. All units just stay in the starting position and do nothing. No option other than abandoning the run :( And sometimes it happens at the end of a round, dunno if I can post a link but here: " i.postimg // .cc/vMjDcnpH/image-2024-08-31-122035632.png " just delete the dashes and space in between.

Red cards focus on sacrificial mechanics, undead and leech. So I think "when killed, unit explodes" means YOUR unit explodes on death, not the enemy one.

You are correct, you can see his archers explode when they die after the card effect is applied.

7:50 Your buy spree wiped out your mercenary number (1/10 Gold). Given they where your most damaging unit, the most Enchanted Unit and your frontline tanks, that ruined your setup.

The art style and even gameplay to a degree remind me of Loop Hero. Also, Carnage causes your guys to explode when they die not killed enemies as seen at 9:20 and as explained by the card text "When killed" not "On kill".

Man, that is why i love you. Sometimes you find pure gold! About game : infinite mode is impossible to beat. Had great setup, based on army and buffs - lost on third, fourth and fifth waves. Killed only 5 units from 335 😂

That was not the shamans, it was the soldiers. So Splatt was correct, the units bugged out and stopped attacking. They do it several times during his second run.

Start with archer. Place steel coat and static on it. Place library to copy those enchantments. Place farm to add more units. In the end you get archers that can dish out several hundred thousand damage to the enemy.

It's... slightly addicting... I like it. I'd mess with the card picker, though, so you don't have to hit the eye to see what you need. The melee units have a tendency to group in the far right, passing the enemy... but since they can't attack your castle without going threw them anyway, it's weird, but not a real issue. One thing I'd add is some tower enchantments to make the library useful if you have no spaces near units. Also, I'd add auto-"click" for the Nothing and Blood armies. I would, maybe, adjust the graveyard as well. Instead of turning the dead where they stand-, have it raise them from it's own plot.

I agree with all the points and suggestions made, also the ramp in endless is a bit steep, Handling up to 32 relatively fine with 30k+ damage and 90% unit survival and then getting dog walked @ 33 is a bit wild imo

I'd think jsut add a buyable plot in the shop for say 30/50 gold would work to add ongoing engagement. Being abel to build outwards and make greater use of buffing tiles like the farm. But I'll still try out the demo, it looks like a fun little game.

I liked the demo of this game, the concept is good and interesting, but it feels way too basic, at least at the moment, with the restricting 9 spots only to place stuff. I got bored out of it quickly and that's a shame.

Same. When you upgrade all your tiles there is nothing to do. Game still gives you upgrades and not buffs for units. Well, it is still demo, let’s hope for the best

Did anyone say anything about what happened there, when her first lost a life? At 9:05 your pool of mercenaries dropped, after you spent your money. They were carrying your battles by doing 1000+ points of damage, But are you bought some things, their numbers dropped off. I downloaded the other demo a few months ago and put an ungodly amount of hours into trying to beat the endless version of it.

Interesting...there doesn't seem to be any relation to Brent Weeks' Lightbringer fantasy book series, which features a card game called Nine Kings. It's a pretty large plot point in the books. He said he was working on making it IRL so I wonder what's going to happen now.

Easiest solution is to mirror the Witcher; the Gwent standalone game's full title is Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, so it'd just be called Nine Kings: The Lightbringer Card Game. Or possibly the world's name in the setting if it has one instead of Lightbringer. Alternatively, since this title is 9 Kings, with the numeral, Nine Kings might be dissimilar enough to clear infringement. I don't think it'll be too hard to make the title distinct.
