Join me on a walk around Royal Deeside, as I go in search of a pyramid in a royal woodland! There are 11 cairns throughout the forest to commemorate events in the royal families life. The pyramid is the most striking and a very interesting place to visit.

I came here due to a tiktok video. I love history and I've never heard of these before. And mad respect to you, I know what it takes to get all those shots of you walking. Place the equipment walk back so you get the shot of you walking by then go back pick up the equipment and to do it over and over.. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video and share it.

Ok, that pyramid is truly bizarre! Never heard of it before, so quite a treat to see this morning. Makes me wonder if I should start building a pyramid on our "estate", assuming my wife agrees. LOL. Another great video, Kim! Liked your royal hiking boots! Addendum: wife says sure, but the inscription will read "Final resting place of my beloved Don, who built this pyramid instead of cleaning up the garage."

Bruh you really believe that? There’s caves around there on top of piezo crystals deposits, the pyramid is a portal marker, the Illuminati makes you believe they made the pyramid for queen Victoria’s husband. But you wouldn’t understand because your a sheep,

This was a lovely video 💚 that pyramid is stunning 💚 I thought you were very sweet to be worried about invading the space of the royals , I couldn’t help thinking the word invade was interesting 🙌 I’m from the Uk and not a fan of the royals I’m afraid (like a lot of us down here 🙌) maybe you will feel at ease remembering the only reason they get to holiday in such a beautiful spot is because they invaded so many lands and forced their will on the people of the lands .... you seem like a lovely lady and I mean you no disrespect but those people don’t deserve any of our worries or concerns ✌️💚☯️

Photography will always be a part of my channel but my KZbin channel has never been exclusively dedicated to photography (in fact my first video was about conservation and my second about exploring the cairngorms). I believe photography, nature and exploring all go hand in hand. I am not a professional photographer - I use photography as a means of connecting with the world and it gets me out exploring. There are several amazing professional photographers on youtube and I have always wanted my channel to be a bit different. Without photography, I wouldn't explore. Without exploring, I would have nothing to photograph. Without an appreciation for nature and the natural world, I wouldn't connect with it and do landscape photography. They all go hand in hand. If it's only photography you're interested in - the videos about photography will clearly have photography in the title. Hope this answers your question.

Lovely way to start my Sunday morning, fascinating video Kim. Wow, that walk up is a bit challenging ( gasp gasp, that'd be me- terribly unfit 😏 good excuse for me to start getting out in nature more though,eh? ) That moss in the woodland looked amazing , as you said it'd be a great location for an autumn shoot! I'm mindblown with that stunning pyramid, how incredible was that! Oh & what a beautiful place to sit & have a picnic. And what I love is that you looked so chilled out & totally relaxed sat there. Looking forward to the Harris & Lewis videos, I'm sure you're having a magical time 😚

Something that is in USofA Air Force regulation is not having the awe of rank. I do ascribe to giving respect to other humans, but to ever think that I am lessor than another is not in my blood, and never has been (for reasons I will not go into here). Yes, from where you are, the "Royal Family" is a thing, but are they really? In your mind's yes, so, so it is from your perspective. But be it for you as you said, you do have the right to be there... grasp that fact tightly to the core of you, and enjoy the beauty of life and living within Scotland.

If I remember rightly, there is a gate into the walk which would be difficult to get a bike though/over. Is is also very steep so depending how fit you are, cycling up to it may be hard but coming down would be fun.

I have been on many a hike/trek where it seemed that it was all up hill. Unfunny thing is that for having to brake oneself with ones legs as one is going down hill, going down the hills are just as strenuous. The actual respite is the shower of bath long after the fact😊
