Fun Fact: Telling your child that grandpa is sleeping when he's actually dead is a good way of giving your child a phobia of sleep.

The way you're dressed sharply and always adjusting your glasses is triggering my senses in a good way, as if me getting put to sleep is a formal event of ultimate importance... Also, I'm confused if I should resist and observe this beautiful form dancing inside my phone's screen or simply close my eyes and surrender entirely to your soft whispers so closely to my ears.

Your ramble videos are very interesting and thought-provoking. I always find myself thinking, even after they've ended. Also... Those sticky things are heavenly. And the sound quality is so crisp! Thank you, once again, for your work. Your talent shines even in the simplest of settings.

This arrived at the perfect time. It’s very early in the morning here in Australia; the perfect excuse to indulge. I doubt that I’ll finish the video in one go, but that’s often the way with your content. It’s my go-to for insomnia and studying.

idc that it's late morning and I have class at 1:30, I'm watching this video and taking a nap. screw you, formalized education! (jk I'm grateful to have access to an education don't come for me)
@deadchannel59083 жыл бұрын
nah but screw formal education. ive learned more about what interests me on my own than from school. school should teach us skills to function and stop there, then we should choose. so no, dis schooling if you want. i recognise we're first world countries and have a privilege but our privilege is systematically wrong and damaging in lots of way so technically no longer becomes a privilege. am i not recognising my privilege enough? i just can't help but hate schooling after the experience i had and many of my peers had. so i'm so up for people bashing it.

I would like to say that I'm very grateful that you keep uploading such great quality videos. I don't comment much on youtube, but I feel like it should be said that even though this isn't the biggest ASMR channel on the platform, it sure is one of the best in my opinion.

Greetings from the far future of 2022. I love your whispering videos, as few and far between as they may be. As someone who has also found sleep elusive for many years (currently running on a solid 2 hours, as you might guess it has been a very enjoyable day), your topic of choice for the intro deeply resonated with me. I know that you mentioned that sleep aids have never worked for you, but might I make some recommendations as both a pharmacist and fellow insomniac? I don't know your past history or what you have attempted already, so this may be redundant information for you, but it could be worth a shot. Of course, please don't take my word as gospel or an official medical evaluation; my brief advice is no substitute for your doctor's. Trazodone is a drug that was originally used as an antidepressant but is now almost exclusively seen as a soporific. In fact, I use it for sleep myself, and a rather large proportion of other healthcare professionals I know do the same (turns out healthcare may be a stressful field--who knew?). At higher doses, I experience the hangover effect in the mornings after using it that you mentioned, but lower doses have no such problem, and the drug in general does not often cause that particular side effect in most patients. If perhaps you have already tried trazodone, I might also recommend looking into Belsomra. Unfortunately it is both a brand only drug and thus can be quite pricey, and is also a controlled medication and therefore carries some additional risks, but it is known to be quite efficacious for insomnia and was also specifically designed to reduce and/or eliminate side effects common to other hypnotics such as the hangover effect you are familiar with, as well as vivid dreams and sleep walking such as is seen with Ambien. I sincerely hope you Morpheus finds you well in the future.

Your whispers are UNUSUALLY breathy. I'm not sure why, but you seem to be using way more air to whisper than is necessary. You seem to need to inhale or exhale after just a few words, which is distracting...at least to me. Why so breathy?
@PhoenicianSailor3 жыл бұрын
This is interesting, may be my nose being stuffed contributing so I had to mouth breathe, and I think I exaggerated it a bit intentionally. Possibly the wrong move, or possibly incipient signs of disease. Time will tell.
