Hi David! I really need your help! This is my first time ever owning a pelargonium. I bought it online and the plant I received is very leggy. It hasn't flowered but the leaf looks identical to that of regal pelargonium. I wanna know if there is any kind of trailing type of regal pelargonium or is my plant struggling with something. Thank you!!

@@GeijutsuPoint Hi, there are no trailing varieties of Regals, if it is a Regal I guess it’s just very leggy. If the leaves are firm then it should be fine. If the leaves are small it may be an Angel as they droop due to the thin stems. D

I would appreciate your help please. I bought a small yellowish flowered pelargonium this summer at a show (but forgot to pick up a label and haven't been able to find a name). I think i repotted it too late in the year and I brought it indoors as it lost all its leaves and i was worried that it was really unhappy. I don't have anywhere light for it to sit indoors as i have a lot of houseplants. Will it be ok without light for a while as it has no leaves? Thank you.

@@juliashearer7842 Hi Julia, basically no. Pelargoniums are very light sensitive and need some even in the winter. If you wish to keep it you will need to find a cool indoor windowsill. If it had yellowish colouring I’m guessing that it was a zonartic type as these do tend to drop their leaves more. D

@@mrpellythank you so much. I saw some videos a while ago of people overwintering their pelargoniums bareroot and completely dried out tucked away in the dark. I thought it might work! Thank you for the clue for an ID too.
