What method did you use to dye the Box Elder burl blanks?

I didn't do it. I purchase cast off partial blanks from at blank producer. He dyes and stabilizes the blanks, cut them to size and cleans them up for sale. I urchase what he can't sell - shorts. I also specify the colors that I like.
