I did my last purchase through a Silencershop kiosk buying from my local shops inventory. Went fine overall. I forgot the exact wait time in days, but it was approximately 7 1/2 months. It's definitely the worst part, but you quickly forget about it until you start thinking about what other kinds of suppressors you want.

@@puertoricanboy100 I recommend advocating against ATF NFA Tax Stamps, as Americans we didn't allow it in 1765 when the Brits tried levying Tax Act Tax Stamps against us and I wouldn't advocate Tax Stamps because at the current time if you do your only advocating for long wait times on your Suppressor purchases, whereas if you advocate against it, it can help us voice our disdain for long wait times and we could possibly have this rubber stamp process repealed and thrown in the garbage bin of History.

You need to purchase the suppressor first. They are serialized and that number needs to accompany the form 4 paperwork. Shoot straight

How many form 4's can we submit at the same time? Say you're buying an sbr and a suppressor together at the same time. Can 2 form 4's be filled out so you'd only have to wait the 1 time period until they're approved? It would suck to only be able to submit a form 4 one at a time.

They’re separate wait times. Sbr, sbs, and homemade suppressors are form 1s. Much shorter time too usually around a month if that. Form 4 is for legit company manufactured cans.

I ended up answering my own question. I submitted 2 form 4's at the same time. Paid the $200 for each item; one sbr and 1 suppressor. Got approved 5 months later for both at the same time.

Unfortunately that is a ridiculous process to purchase something that can help reduce hearing loss. Pass on a suppressor for now. Maybe one day the process will be simpler

It’s unconstitutional in many states.. costs several hundred dollars to take classes, apply for a CCW and several months to get your license. A lot of people can’t afford a $300 firearm to defend themselves and then they turn around and tack on another $300 just to be able to carry it.

I gave it a few seconds of thought and the answer is no. The nfa item has to have a serial number on the paperwork. A shop won't be able to file the tax stamp before the item is bought and paid for.

The place I purchased my suppressor will only do it with paperwork. Witch totally sucks because I cant get out much do to injuries. I've been trying for months now. But paperwork kept coming back incomplete. Finally said fuck it. And wanted my money back. Ha! The store is no longer there. Seems they sold same suppressor to several people. Then closed while the paperwork was in limbo for 9 to 12 months. I haven't come across one honest person in Arizona since I moved here 27 years ago.

I'd probably judge stick to a proven brand, especially since Aero has been known to be dropping the ball big time on quality. Last receivers (epc) were problematic and their warranty department is slow and lacking
