Turns out.....Duane Hanson did that one too. I absolutely love his sculptures. Tha ks for showing this one. I'm going to seek it out next time we are at MCO. That must be so weird for Jackson to see what looks like a real person not moving at all and be told, "That's a sculpture". The concept of hyper-realistic art representing a human is a lot for even adults to wrap their heads around.

Bad news: Duane Hanson died in 1996, which was ten years after the sculpture was installed. It's interesting how the costume, props and hairstyle of the subject doesn't immediately tip you off that it's not a real person, because there are people who still dress like that.

I get it - the cruise I MIGHT be going on this September (still waiting to see if I have to have foot surgery in the near future) has been in the planning/being paid for stage since 2018!! At least I've continued to use extra "payoff time" to upgrade/get a handicapped cabin, so I have a HA balcony. That parking area "bear, pig, etc." IS really cool, and creative! Jackson has such a cute sense of humor for such a little buddy - he always makes me smile! :) "I wouldn't do the water slide inside" and "It'd be funny if the mannequin's arm popped off right now" - ROTFL Tim!! Biting into blueberry burger - "is it good?", Tim - "ah ah" ( no), LOL. I guess Time finally found a burger he doesnt like. Tip for tofu, freeze it first, it changes the texture. You can freeze it and then out in refrigerator to use later. BTW, love that you are eating more plant based meals, and Jackson seems so interested in eating what you guys eat, i bet he would like your meals too.

You can cook all rice white or brown, like pasta. Just boil, drain like pasta. It's called "the french method of cooking rice" if you want exact steps how to. Rice comes out perfect every time. *you just need a mesh strainer

Little Buddy is growing up so fast. So jelly about your cruise. We cruised our first and probably only Disney Dream last March and was not able to dock at Castaway, due to high winds. I always get so sad when people show how much fun they had. Enjoy your cruise you all deserve it. God Bless.

Tofu Pro tip: freeze your tofu then thaw it in the refrigerator before prepping it. It will firm up the texture and make it more fibrous and chicken like. Never quite get there, but it’s closer.

OK! Great way to cook brown rice: 1) Put water in a pot, as much as if you're going to boil noodles. (You don't need to measure.) 2) Bring to a boil. DO NOT SALT. (It will change the texture of the rice.) 3) Dump your brown rice in, give it a stir and bring back to a boil. Let boil uncovered for 30 minutes. (A soft boil is the best instead of a hard boil since the water doesn't evaporate as much, but it needs to boil instead of simmer.) 4) Pour the pan into a colander and drain for 10 seconds. 5) Put the damp rice back in the pan and cover with a lid for 10 minutes. (With the stove turned off. No heat.) 6) Fluffy brown rice!

Those trinket trays are all the same thing just magic kingdom is long and not circular. I have the Hollywood studios and magic kingdom one. I don’t think I ever saw them in the parks but I got them on shopdisney and when I got them they also had the animal kingdom one online but HS and MK are my two favorites. Also that 25th anniversary mug was super cool. My mom, grandma, and other family were there because it was my grandmas 50th that year and I’ve seen the pictures of that castle decorated and it was so pretty

Surprised Tim didn't suggest naming the Traveller after you told Jackson it was ART. The mini bricks are interesting to do. The pieces are so small you really need to place them well.
