Lupita was fire on Hot Ones! Thought I was watching a scene at one point. She went through several raw emotions in the span of 20 seconds that made me laugh, feel genuinely concerned, then laugh again 😂

Cats when they are nervous, are very quiet, it is a natural instinct. My cats when the weather is bad, like thunderstorms and such they go silent. Slink to the basement and hide. Usually they are meow Magee 😂 but thunder or driving in the car, they go mute. The cat named Frodo. ❤

I enjoyed the movie, I'm just waiting on the explanation on what the aliens are doing here. They kinda touched on it a little bit, when Frodo and the dude stubbled upon the alien pod nest, but still no clear answer. I don't have a favorite because the whole series is great.

I agree I actually liked the movie but afterwards I also felt something was missing. I feel like five more minutes in that movie would have made it How it supposed to be. Like maybe seeing everybody get off the boat and arrive to the island. I don't know but something was definitely missing but overall I think it was good. However, out of all three movies it is only the third best.

I didn’t love it as much as Part 1 or 2 but as a survival thriller with aliens, I really enjoyed my time. The characters were enjoyable and Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn were excellent together. Great review

I really enjoyed this movie. This is the only movie in the Quiet Place franchise I've ever seen, so I'm thinking about checking out the others. It was well-acted and had me feeling very invested in the characters, and yes, the cat's well-being was very important to me too. lol

This last one didnt feel like an horror movie to me. It was a drama movie with horror elements but we did get some added lore about the creatures. Btw they just kill, not eat, humans one scene shows what they actually eat so… food for thought

I’m glad they didn’t try to explain anything and just went with a new set of characters to connect to. The issue is the second white boy wasn’t as compelling as Lupita and the cat. I would like to see a 4th installment after this with Djimon’s character expanded

It was a fine movie. The acting was excellent! I came in with an expectation of learning more about the alien’s intent, government response, etc. so disappointed and that impacted my experience. Would give it 🎷🎷🎷

I saw the film and the acting was awesome but I was expecting something different, more background on the aliens why they came to earth, what did they want. Also there wasn’t as much suspense as the other two films, I wanted more of that. I give the film a 6.75 lol - but you can’t deny the wonderful chemistry of the actors, the emotional impact and the acting. It was a different kind of sci-fi horror film which I can’t say was bad just not what I expected. Oh and just my opinion but I hated the cat in the movie, can we say ANNOYING 🙄

Well, first @Tony Baker your bracelets would get you killed. All I heard was the clacking when you did the hand movements lol. As far as this franchise, this is my least favorite. I felt like they just wanted a reason to tear up NY. I was expecting an explanation of where these aliens came from although, I'm with you, I think they're just grumpy. I'm a big fan of Lupita & she was phenomenal as usual but, since we know no more about the aliens than we did the last 2 movies, I feel like this wasn't needed. The first one is still the best one.

***SPOILER*** What I really appreciated about this movie was that they didn't try to cram a love story down our throats. I personally hate when the movie has an unnecessary love story to drive the movie forward. Instead there was a friendship that felt organic with MINIMAL sexual tension. Plus, if there even was a love story to be had, it could have been with the father who had his family at the theater. You could have also dove into the complexity of him killing the guy to save his son and losing his wife. Then here comes dying protagonist to lick his wonds before she dies. (Thats just my imagination going lol) Overall I like this movie and it's worth a watch.

And wow I didn't realize this was a franchise. After googling it, the first two looked more like a horror film and that's why I didn't go see it. Im usually not into horror films.This felt like more of a survival film. Considering I never saw the first two, this movie stands well alone. Now I gotta go back and watcht the first two!

I have a question for people who really love their pets, like they are their children who have human children as well. I was never a pet person, so I don't get the whole pet experience at all. However, it makes sense to me why someone like lupita, who that's all she has, would risk her life for a pet. However, I'm wondering if people who have both and love them both would put their kids at risk by trying to keep the pet as well? Not judging, just generally interested.

Tony, you missed that the aliens brought their own snacks. And the kitty was sampling them. Also, I’ve seen a lot of people act incredulous about the cat. They obviously never had cats before. Cats know stuff before you do. Plus, Frodo has an extra layer of training as a service cat. As for my ranking, I actually like part two, but Day One is a better movie.

I didn't like it, I guess there wasn't much of a connection. It should have been better. I love Joseph Quinn as Eddie on Stranger Things but I felt like they didn't write the script very well. His character just popped up out of nowhere, and I didn't feel much of a connection with Lupita as the lead actress, although I do love her as an actress. The way they were just thrown together was weird, so it caused mixed feelings. I get it people bond in a crisis. But there was nothing about the previous family that we grew to love and this was a completely different set of characters. I love that Djimon Hounsou from Amnistad was present but his role was too small, very brief. They should have provided his character with a backstory, but nope! They didn't care enough about his character to do that. Just pay that man what he is worth! Epic fail in my opinion, and sadly I didn't care enough about these other characters. Everyone was rooting for the cat, so 2 stars for the cat in my opinion.
