OK. but it is the pianist carrying the song for her. She could do with some more voice training. Eg. Her voice fades away in places.

True as! The pianist was definitely carrying the song. And yes, she certainly could do with some voice lessons. She's never had a one. But I can sure tell you, this little Aussie was quite chuffed that THAT brilliant musician wanted to work with me! And that I was able to hold a note at all, considering two days prior I was so sick and without a voice. But God is good. He gives us opportunities even when we are not at our finest, and comments from strangers that are not always complimentary - just to keep us humble! (smiles)

Maybe the engineer needs to learn the difference between the soloist and the accompanist. Seems to be a common problem with instruments overpowering vocals, and vocal back overpowering the soloist.
