I had a friend in college that played a harp just like this one. Me and my three roommates were all friends with her and her three roommates. Her harp used to just sit in her living room except when she would take it to campus for concerts. We used to beg her to play a concert for us in her living room. After months, she finally gave in and scheduled a Sunday afternoon living room concert. She sent out fancy, lacy invitations to everyone in the apartment building. Probably 20 or 30 people came. We all waited for her to come out of the back room to play, but, to our surprise, her three roomates each came out, one at a time, and played one or two pieces each. She had been giving them free lessons for months. After the recital, the harpist came out, thanked us for coming, and announced that the concert was over. My roommate shouted at her that if she didn't play the harp that he would pluck off all of its strings. She then played a long, beautiful piece in a classical style that lasted probably 15 minutes. We clapped our hands raw and all at raman noodles together before leaving.

@@ZePandarr I don't what you mean about core memories, but we did things like this all the time. We hosted a murder mystery dinner once. We used to jump into the freezing cold swimming pool in January. I remember a friend in that apartment complex that did an elaborate treasure hunt thing where we had to search for the next clue until we reached the prize at the end (movie tickets to the dollar theater). It was good all, wholesome fun. Now we're all grown up and we have our own families and careers, but we keep in touch on Facebook.

The first time I have heard Bach's Toccata and Fugue played on the harp, and whow, what a sublime transformation from the fierce and strident power of the organ, to an absolutely gripping revelation of exquisite beauty, touching ephemeral heights of sublime, insistent awakening.

All the hair in my back stands. And tears too. How many times have I heard these toccata and fugue? how many times have I played them myself on the piano? and here again, a rendition that is so vivid, so majestically simple and true, so un-pretentious that I just need to... need to.... hear it again. Now. I don't know what happened in the brain of J.S. Bach when he composed this piece. Have he understood what he was doing. It almost looks like the piece was imposed on his brain from the outside complete, so perfect it is. Thank you Sophia Kiprskaya for this gift to humanity. Thank you again. Will cherish this rendition forever.

Metal is classical music + overdrive and distortion for death and black. As you get older you will start finding classical music more enticing, especially Bach and Vivaldi, and maybe paganini and Listz. Try v=Nnuq9PXbywA, thats BWV 565 by Hans-Adre Stamm and that thing is more metal than anything you could possibly have listened. Trust me I know. If you liked that one, then try BWV582. You need to give it time as your mind needs some "training" if you will before you can fully appreciate what they are. That said coming from death metal you are already halfway there. If star wars was real Bach could have been a sith lord.

So beautiful. Congratulations to Sophia Kiprskaya for her refined artistry. She is wonderful and unique. Her inspiration is so powerful that I dared to write some lines for him... After such a long time. Bolshoi Spasiba!

Man spürt wie die Töne in meiner Seele eindringen Faszinierend, bravo bravo Beauty begins to bloom in the heart! I want to live in peace on this beautiful planet!!! I live in the forest of cold dreams, oh so cruel against a new morning, I think it's peace my soul weeps, oh you dark creatures of the night The truth emerges when reality overtakes it! It's been a long time It's been a long time It's already afternoon I am sitting with my great love Anna on a hill not far from my garden the sun glitters behind the trees and a dark cloud hides deepened in the book Челкаш by Maxim Gorky it reminds me of the Muzeon Park of Arts in Moscow Sculptures are saved moments That is why some people stop at certain sculptures with a smiling or thoughtful face a smile that enchants eyes that shine like stars Kisses that flow through the body like fire. I close my eyes and all I see is you! In my dreams I wander through this garden Where is the sculpture that helps Mother Russia see? And I'm screaming out loud, do you want to help me? or are you already stone statues? but Anna wakes me up, what's going on the thunderstorm is approaching we have to go inside what is an important moment when we both wake up look us happily in the eye and swear love and be able to live peacefully in freedom in Ukraine I LOVE YOU - Giovanni Marradi kzbin.info/www/bejne/rIu2nYmIg5uLgc0

What beautiful artistry of by Sophia Kiprskaya ! The harp has its bow of most ancient in most ancient races. It was a highly developed instrument in ancient Egypt. Such was the instrument of the Cymeric and celtic bards etc. Bravo 👏 ❤ What an honor to listen to this concert again. All these classical musicians feelings come alive with depths from their fingertips with each stringed instrument flowing among the other with colors vibrating ethereal into flute of a bird singing. Bravo , Bravo 👏 👏👏👏👏
