Nice job. Just an after thought. I built one similar for my wife. She said the light was kinda bright. So, I scuffed up the inside of the plexi to an translucent appearance to act as a light diffuser. I have also seen some guys spray a very light coat of white paint on the inside of the box and plexi to reflect more light and diffuse it on the plexi. Something to think about. Hope your mom enjoys it.

I actually used some frost spray on another part, but my mom wanted it clear for max light through. Sometimes the materials she uses are thicker and it's perfect for that. When she wants to dim it, she simply uses a thin layer of white. Thanks for your input, it was definitely a thought!
