I agreed totally with you about the puppy mills and about our pets being a commitment. I love animals more than I love people.🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 I agree with you about just donating things when you’re ready to get rid of them. That’s what I do every time. I fill up my car and take it to a donation center to get it out of the house now! I never sell anything. God bless you.❤️🙏

Hi Ellen. My plans today were to walk @ the Y, go to Mass & get pizza take-out. Well, it snowed til 4 pm & I don't drive in the snow, so I didn't go out @ all. That hardly ever happens but it was cozy. My hubby & son shoveled us out so tomorrow I will try my plans again! To discard good stuff, I put it out front with a "free" sign. People take things :) I love your pottery idea. ❤ 🤎

I got rid of some of my exercise equipment by putting it to the curb. It was gone in no time. I don't like to drive in the snow anymore either.

Good evening Ellen, today was a quiet, stay at home day. I spent time with my Figaro kitty, and I did one load of laundry. Nice, easy day. It snowed again yesterday, and it is cold, so Inside looking Outside was the way to go today!😊 I love animals, and all of our dogs that my hubby and I had were either from animal shelters or from Foster "moms". My kitty Figgy came from a wonderful "foster mom." I enjoyed and loved all of them!❤ Take care, Ellen! God Bless you.

My sweet cat is 14 years old now and diabetic. He gets his insulin, vet checkups and prescription cat food. I do my best to give him a good life. He’s my companion and I love him. Congratulations on your basement. It looks like you had what they needed for them to get lots accomplished. When you work on your part just remember to take it easy, it didn’t get that way overnight and you have the luxury of time.

Started the day shoveling more snow, about 4-5 more inches. I'm so tired of snow. LOL. The rest of the day was a PJ day for me as well. I worked some on taxes (eating that elephant one bite at a time) and made a pot of ham and bean soup. Did walk a mile on the walking pad this evening. I'm kind of in hibernation mode right now.

You deserve a rest day after the day you had yesterday❤ it snowed today in Massachusetts only 2 inches which is strange. We have not had any snow and usually by now we are inundated with snow🙏 but I cleaned off my car, and I took the boy for a short walk, came in and cleaned and then I did a 4 mile walk video by Leslie Sansone. She is a Christian woman who does 3, 4, 5, walk videos. They are really easy steps and they’re a great pace. Have a blessed night, my friend. It is Saturday night here in Massachusetts and I am cuddled in bed with Otis. God bless you.🙏 I am loving her book answered prayers. I read it along with my devotionals every morning.

Pajama day for me too except when I took my dog, Ellie for a walk. We actually have a frost warning in Phoenix tonight so I had to cover all my frost sensitive plants. It’s still sunny and warm during the day. Nothing makes me more sad and angry than abuse of animals, elderly, and children. Any vulnerable groups on the planet. I can’t take it. Glad you had a restful day today. You deserve it after such a productive day yesterday. Slow and steady is my pace. : ) ❤

Good windy, smokey Sunday morning. Oops..no longer morning. Puppy mills are heart breaking. I see the puppy mill raids on the news and all the dogs are rescued, treated by vets and cared for until ready for adoption. The nursing mamas care for their puppies until they are weaned and are often adopted with one of their puppies. Mamas without new litters are loved back to good health and adopted....live the followup videos showing those pups in a happy environment. Probably their first! 🐕 I hope you enjoy a couple of days off to relax & regroup. I did not get much done this week...two doctor checkup appts and food shopping. The rest of my time I am glued to the fires, checking on friends, An assisted living near me took in 82 residents from one that burned down so I am going to put some things together from their 'needs' list. Hard to believe they would have 82 empty beds. Usually there is a wait list so I have some concerns on the 'why' re bed availability. Doing my due diligence research 😏

I just heard the part about the animal rescues and Covid. I live in a townhouse community. I own my own townhouse during Covid there were at least10 new dogs around😮 now, I probably see just 2of them left from the Covid days 😮if I could not afford Otis I would never have gotten him. And I did not get him until I retired. He will be 8 on January 17th. They are not throwaway pets.😡

I have never known any Amish. People in this country far outspend any other country on animals and pets. I know life is not perfect but reality shows billions of dollars spent in pet and animal care. Just the pet sitting industry is billions of dollars. Vet care is billions not to mention food and every kind of animal in this country could have a treat.
@EllensAbundantLifeonLess13 күн бұрын
Yes having animals can be very expensive but I think they are so worth it. Vet bills, like Dr Bill's are out of control super expensive!
