Stephen i really loved this story. When I got out of the Marine Corps I hiked the better of a year.After four years of wars being by myself with mountains waterfalls the occasional moose 🫎 and other crazy guys like myself it was wonderful. One of the coolest places was I believe called tombstone canyon in Grand Teton National Park. Big slabs of stone fell off the cliffs and stuck in the ground. When the moon was bright it cast shadows tombstones. Natural makes the most beautiful scenes.

Out of all the things that have happened in my life the 13 months I spent in Vietnam made the biggest impact. Not all bad I think it s made me who I am. You and I have talked I believe you can see I love life love people I think I have a good sense of humor. I think life is going to give good and bad and you better be able to let both roll off your back. My job in the Marines was reconnaissance I was part of a 7 man team I know you understand Memorial Day and Veterans Day all 7 of us do a face call those days . We are all still that close. Dearest Stephen, I found your videos and channel while scrolling endlessly and watching the sun come up yet again without a wink of sleep. I live with severe sleep apnea and anxiety and it's been an extreme challenge to find sleep to the point of being terrified of bedtime until now, thank you my friend for your kindness and your soothing voice that now gently takes me to restorative sleep and I awaken happy, thank you dosent even come close to my appreciation for you. Well I have yet to listen to an entire story because I fall fast asleep well before they are done! I especially love the rain sounds in some of the stories. My therapist suggested sleep stories as a way to help me fall asleep and this channel is the first one I tried and I haven't even looked elsewhere. This man's voice is lovely and I love the gentle relaxation portion. I also love how he tells me I am safe when I hear his voice. That is my favorite part actually. I genuinely feel safe to fall asleep.

It's one of mine because it lasts 3 hours and gives longer rain time than his other videos. I would love to have 6 hours of rain or sounds after the stories but I don't know how much work that would take. But then, there are several others that have 8-10 hours of sounds if I need that 🤔 so I'm just thankful to hear his voice.

Dear Stephen, You are my new favorite sleep aid I love the cozy feel of your stories. As a kid I loved the book Watership Down and imagined being the size of a rabbit & going deep into those rabbit warrens and cozy burrows. That's a great idea. I'm sure there are listeners who are claustrophobic but I believe with Stephen's voice and his way of calming people, that he could do this in a way that may actually help people who are claustrophobic a little. Most things we are afraid of, our phobias are not actually life threatening. Some can be but mostly the fear comes in our thinking and the way we view things when in reality, most of the time we're just fine and there's no real threat. I believe if we can simply calm our minds, we can overcome a lot of our fears. Stephen has helped me with so many fears, traumatic events, healing my heart and mind also ❤.

The word story feels inadequate to describe this video I find I have formed a unique connection to the voice that floats across the airways every night like melted chocolate that takes the imagination to places never before possible to the point where coming to bed has taken on a whole new meaning. Just recently discovered your sleep stories..I've battled insomnia ever since my teenage years..I'm 48 now and have never in my entire life fallen asleep as fast as I have over these past few weeks...I don't know what you're doing but keep it up my sleeping habits have improved so much!! Don't really leave comments but I've never been able to listen to more than 15 minutes of the stories, I love listening to them and being able to fall asleep fast but no matter how hard I try to stay awake to hear more of them, I always get way to relaxed and fall asleep. I've tried almost everything on KZbin and I'm even on sleep medications but your stories and voice help me every night. Thank you so much ❤❤

I would like to thank you for your help with sleeping. The tone is your voice is perfect. This has been my favorite story. However, there is a section in here where it is just rain for quite a while and I fall asleep. But then you begin to talk about the leaves and I wake up every time. This would be perfect if it was just the rain for the rest of the story. I thank you so much.
