A RARE SIGHTING-PHOTOGRAPHING BLACK WINGED STILTS!

In this video I had a fantastic opportunity to photograph black winged stilts which are a rare bird for the UK.
After waiting in the hide for a couple of hours the stilts came close enough to get some great pictures and footage. To see these fabulous birds and view some images and video of other water birds please take a look at my video.

Hi David, thanks very much, pleased you enjoyed it. I haven't ordered the Z8 yet. I normally wait for a camera to be out for a while in case there are any issues with it. And to be honest I think that's a sound idea because there is a recall on some Z8 bodies. All the best, Steve.

Interesting video! It's great you managed to see the stilts. I saw a pair for the first time ever at RSPB Lodmoor, Weymouth, Dorset back in April of this year - however, a long way off for my lens but I got some record shots, anyway!
