A Rare & Unique Documentary on Sri Tyagaraja and the Onchavritti by Vid. Dr. R S Nandakumar

It is indeed our life's fulfillment to upload such videos such as this one I have uploaded just before the forthcoming Sri Tyagaraja Aradhana day celebrations that will be held in innumerable parts of our world.
I thank the erudite and respected SCSVMV University in Kanchi, Tamilnadu and Sri Tyagaraja Sabha of Mysore under whose aegis, my disciples and I were able to serve this noble musical cause. I also bow with reverence before the the great musicians of these two places with whom I was prevailed to do the Onchavritti.
My special thanks to the revered Vice Chancellor of SCSVMV University, Dr Ramakrishna Pisipaty, of the university, Sangita Vidwan Sri H.K.Narasimhamurthy of Mysore.
This video gives a comprehensive narration of this great saint's life and work and affectionately suggest as to what it would mean for all of us and perhaps inspires us into peaceful and loving dialogues with our people.
This long cherished dream was made possible by my dear disciple Sriharsha by collecting all the relevant video portions, narrative script read by me, pictures, audio files from me.
I thank Smt. Rashmi and Girish and all dedicated members of the newly launched Swarabhishekham endeavor by our esteemed friends in Munich and other parts of Bavaria in Germany. They inspired me into this work.
