yes i thought of that too but i like to think that when kyle doesnt go with eric he proceeds to k//ll himself, so he comes back to the last place where he saw him, just to remember him but the hallucination is a good option too (but i dont really like angst...) because if kyle was the writer, and in that ending kyle didnt let eric make his question, why did he wrote like he did? i dont know, this makes me sad..
