I'm actually dreading scream fortress a bit this year. Without a proper fix for the bot/cheating problem, I fear casual (where we have to be to do the merasmissions) will be a horrible place to play, as has been the case for the last year or so. And the fact we haven't been getting any new gameplay content on Scream Fortress in the near past just makes Scream Fortress taste sour to me with each passing year. I don't know. I've seen some very cool cosmetics popping up on the workshop, so at least there's that. But the sad thing is I can't bring myself to be hopeful and hyped about Scream Fortress anymore, it's just depressing.

Lets hope that bots wont join way to early, last year it took them a while ( I guess to be programed for those specific maps ) to join Casual event maps. When it comes to new content, I liked the idea of Moldergrove, which introduced this underwold arena which would grant winning team a crits for short pediod of time, but you are right that most 2 of 4 new maps were just reskins and that just feels pretty cheap. Naturally as Horror Movies Enthusiast, and born in October - I must be hyped a lot just for the fact alone that there will be the Halloween Event. Lets hope for the best, at very least we get the same old maps and nothing much of an new content apart of cosmetics and unusuals. But we get to finally play something else from rest of the year. Im pretty much tired of all Vanilla maps at this point.

I may be biased considering I'm part of the TF2Maps community, but I'm definitely looking forward to the new maps the most. Like, as someone who has playtested quite a few of them, the choices this year are FANTASTIC. Like Graveyard and Hades for example(please vote for them on the Workshop, my friends made them :3). But even then, all the cosmetics and unusuals I've been seeing on the Workshop lately have been on a whole other level this year, I'm SO excited!

It feels like a week ago when you last recommended to buy spelled items before 2020 Halloween, and since then they got such exposure and boom in popularity thanks to many TF2 KZbinrs talking about them ( like VirtualEconomist ) that they are going for absolute outrageous prices and its hard to find decent spell trader nowdays that isnt highballing his prices. ( I seen Strange Bottle with Exorcism going for $117, I got mine for $5 before the hype. ) Thanks God that I was collecting them before, nowdays my Double Spelled Earbuds with Rotten Orange Footprints and Voices From Below, that would go by ( pretty much outdated ) pricing around 14keys, went to 150 keys. But sure Im very excited! I got myself Glitched Spec KS kit and applied it on my Fireproof Secret Diary just so I can sync those kills with rest of KS weapons. I hope that maps like Hades, Spellway and especially Farmageddon get added. People are begging Valve to re-add spells and workshop is full of new ideas about them, so that would be interesting if they would get green light. At very least we could get some new and nice Unusual effects so lets hope for that!
