You could’ve simply and adequately explained that to your friend… especially in a way that he could understand. I’m pretty sure the speaker was not personally targeting visitors, nor anybody that’s just coming to the faith or curious about the faith (if he was, then that’s something entirely different.) Homosexuality has existed since the beginning of time and has always been in the church, especially in the music/fine arts department. Anyone committing habitual sin should not hold any leadership position but should be encouraged to participate, fellowship and consistently be taught the Word of God. Beating them was/still is not the answer. The truth is they must desire to give their hearts completely over to the Lord for healing and deliverance. Whatever the sin, you can’t browbeat anyone over the head to make them live right. Give them the truth of Gods Word, pray for them and love them.

This is absolutely a case of 2 things: 1) NOT rightly dividing The Word and 2) not knowing who you are, thus, not knowing your heritage. I'm listening to my sister, while the whole time she has someone else's hair in her head. Now, that's not an indictment on her, just pointing out the cognitive dissonance. If you're reading the Bible WITH understanding, then you know there are folks in the old testiment who, if you are an "african american", whatever that is, are your fore fathers, had locks. When the Bible talks about a man wearing his hair like a women, it's talking about styles like Katt WIlliams and Snoop were wearing with their hair all pressed and straightened. Let's address what the NEW testiment says about women preaching. Folks, we HAVE to wake up. Our "preachers" are being educated in the seminary schools that are run by Jesuits...So they are educated by people who have conspired to take us out Psalms 83:1-8.

...and many of the church leaders are merely... called; not saying that's a bad thing but it's much easier to simply say what you are rather than actually work to be who you say you are. Unfortunately the Black American Churches have suffered serious spiritual decline stemming from the pulpit. I agree with most of ur post.

All I'm gonna say is this the bible does speak of being called and Annointed It didn't talk about going to a college and have pay money for somebody to teach you corruption and fake emotion & tell you their Version or understanding of what the Bible says. If you seek the Lord man or a woman and you read the word. The Holy Spirit will give you the proper understanding and once you have that understanding. The requirement is that you teach the others. The law sheet the men with braids and weave in their hair and wigs. That they are lost and they need to seek the face of God. So instead of trying to knit pitch, you should be backing her cause she's doing exactly what the Bible says. Just my two cent

Glad you feel convicted by this rebuke.👌🏾 Women are NOT to preach/lead but, when they did the men were weak. Isa 3:12 ”As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.“ Jud 4:8-98 Barak said to her, “If you go with me, I will go; but if you don’t go with me, I won’t go.” 9 “Certainly I will go with you,” said Deborah. “But because of the course you are taking, the honor will not be yours, for the Lord will deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman.” Due to the course Barack was taking, only going to war if Deborah go with him when the Lord gave him the command, shows weakness/lack of faith so the victory was given to a woman.

Paul was talking to one particular group of people, whom he was trying to put everyone in order in that group because the church was in chaos. And he told THEM the instructions of not having authority over a man and also told them to go to their husbands if they had questions. Aside from Acts 2:17-19 reiterating Joel's prophecy about using men and women in this world to serve God's purpose, but he was already using women for his purpose. You people make me sick as Galatians says in the body of Christ there is neither male nor female, slave nor free for you are all one in Jesus Christ. God uses women because the majority of them are willing to be broken and humble themselves and do what thus saith the Lord. Black men are too macho for God to use.

I agree that men should NOT dress or act or resemble women. buttttt in the Bible for a specific call on Samson’s life, he did have long hair before Delilah deceived him and cut it off. I’m thankful that 1 Samuel 16:7 says that man looks on the outerward appearance but the Lord looks at the heart. Some times we are ugly (act ugly)when we are trying to speak what’s right. scripture says, with love and kindness have I drawn thee. Not mockery, not shame. The Word of God is powerful, it’s alive and sharper than any two edged sword. It discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart. and IT doesn’t return to Him empty. IT accomplishes things. No one can hide anything from Him, He knows it all according to Hebrew 4:12.

@@sermun101 Paul told the men of the church not to wear long hair during that time because the male prostitutes wore them, and he did not want them to be mistaken as such. She is right about homosexuality. The Bible speaks against it. However, braids and locks are a cultural hairstyle that dates back centuries for men and women . Only western nations and ideologies would find a problem with it. One could also argue that waist length European hair on a black woman rebuking black men for the way they style their natural hair, is a hypocritical stance. Furthermore, since the sermon is regarding biblical righteousness, I’m sure she is aware that women preaching in the pulpit is a no, no in the Bible.

Women are not preachers in the church.
@mariamendoza53534 ай бұрын
As a woman I totally agree. God commanded that no woman should preach nor be a leader of a church. Man was given this position and is called to be the head of the household. Many women hate this but women are to be submissive. I came across this video and I've seen many women pastors or co- pastors and it's a shame because that comes from feminist thinking. And God looks at the heart of man, not the appearance...unless you're inappropriately dressed. If the guy's hair is naturally his, even if it's in braids and long shouldn't be a problem. I don't like man buns tho. But alot of christian women forget that we also must be modestly dressed not covered by heavy makeup, jewelry, fake nails, and such because it expresses vanity and that beauty is important. If it's wrong for a man to be without socks then what would you say about Jesus and the apostles? I think women nowadays have become too critical and judgemental over men.
