Maybe you should demonstrate a peg graft for the bottom branch. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to confidently execute on a shohin size tree..... Your videos are the best! This channel is what really made me fall in love with bonsai. Have you ever thought of starting a subscription channel?

With the first maple, you said the upward growth interrupted the natural flow. Isn’t upward growth what maples naturally do? If the maple tree fell over in nature, it would respond by redirecting and growing up to the sun, because they don’t grow horizontally unless shaded. Maybe I don’t understand. Can you explain?
