A lovely video! After watching this, I made a point of visiting Thiessen Kai while I was on holiday in Kiel, and it was certainly worth it! I got there by taking a bus from the centre to Kiel Wik, then on the free ferry (Adler 4) across the canal to Kanalstraße then a pleasant walk to the quay. I had breakfast in the quaint café shown here and enjoyed the 'Steurbord' (Starboard) breakfast option. It was much busier on a sunny Sunday in September 2024 but no wonder, because the food was great. Afterwards, I walked from there along to Friederichsort through the disused military grounds and caught the ferry from Falkenstein back to the city centre at the Bahnhofsbrücke. Thanks again for the video - if I hadn't seen it on KZbin before my holiday, I would never have discovered this lovely little corner of Kiel.
