But in my opinion though, I’m glad Nintendo and Intelligent systems realized that TTYD is the peak of the franchise compared to the last three failed franchises of paper Mario. It’s that they were taking feedback from fans and giving them a proper response and respect by remaking TTYD. I still can’t believe that this is happening!

Teared up while watching this. They went the full way when animating this. I can't wait to play this gem of a remake. That they went this far shows promise,they finally understand what we been shouting for years. Paper Mario is back in full glory!!

I'm surprised they animated the intro with sound effects, it tells me they are really going above and beyond for this remake. I'm really hoping this game does very well, the Mario RPG remake sold 3.14 million copies, let's keep it going to show there's interest in Mario rpgs. Hopefuly if this does well there wil be a new Paper Mario like the first 2 and they'll bring back Mario & Luigi.

Mario & Luigi is a different can of worms. We talkin bankruptcy, hellish development cycles, and shut down studios. That’s a series that we’ll either get in the farrrr distant future, or more likely, they’ll drop altogether.

This is exactly what I meant when I mentioned (not sure if also on this channel, but still) that I would love to see a Paper Mario game which combined the best parts of the old ones with those of the new ones, I'm so looking forward to this incredible - in every sense of the word, still can't believe it's happening and it's so beautiful - TTYD remake and imagine if they'll continue doing that for a completely new game!

It's awesome that Nintendo decided to go the extra mile to animate the intro to TTYD. They seriously didn't have to do it but boy thank god they did. Goes to show how this remake of a beloved gamecube title is being held with a lot of love and care put into it.

If Intelligent Systems is behind this remake, I hope we get another interview from them. Cause I'm VERY curious about their mindset when they decided to remake TTYD. Part of me thinks that they were kinda burntout of the arguements, slander and criticisms towards their recent creations. Cause honestly, after seeing this fanbase interact online , what creator wouldn't feel burntout? But I could be wrong. After all, we know by now that there is more to a development's story than we initially think.

They felt the need to show this tiny thing because it's just a taste of the changes they made to the visuals. "We even changed this!" That's the sentiment IMO.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mario RPG and TTYD were remade simultaneously, but that TTYD needed a bit more love to make sure it was 100% perfect for the switch. I mean they were announced three months apart from each other and its only a six month wait between the two beloved RPGs. Now all we need is SPM and we'll have all four loved games on one console

We also have Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga on NSO. Would love to see a new studio take the reins for that series. Maybe Arte Piazza? (the people behind the Mario RPG remake)

Honestly my favorite change that we’ve seen so far is the redesign of Professor Frankly’s house. It looks so much more immersive and colorful especially with the new lighting and graphics! It might not be a very popular change compared to what everyone else is talking about but people tend to forget that you’re in his house pretty much after every chapter of the game and I’m glad they nailed the environment of his home. Also I have a question: Why do the Lakitu’s look blurry and not blurry in the Glitz Pit crowd?

Game of the Year 2024 is almost here 🙌🏼 That revamped intro got met watering up. The music is beautiful sounding. I am confident they are taking very good care of the soundtrack to modernize and keep most of the soundtrack similar to the original. Im struggling controlling my hype I’m losing it with hype. The intro trailer was amazing to upload because it’s letting new viewers know they are being invited to a very story driven Mario adventure!!!

Man they really are going all out with this remake, and I could not be happier about it! And I really hope intelligent systems got the message to go back to the classic roots with 64 and TTYD when they make the next Paper Mario game because it would be really disappointing to see the next Paper Mario game ends up being very experimental and gimmicky like the last 3 games after this remake I hope that not the case but I can only hope for the best and I'm more hyped up for the remake after seeing that intro can't wait for TTYD on the switch!

@Yoshiinite, Honestly, those people are just attention-mongering edgelords. Any person in their RIGHT mind can look at this and see that's it's OBJECTIVELY a remake through and through. There's truly no argument here, and you're absolutely right, anybody that says otherwise is just looking to get a reaction out of somebody because evidently, their lives are as dry as a desert. Nintendo and whoever the secondary developers are (I'm safely assuming it's intelligent systems) is putting their ALL into this remake, they're putting so much meticulous work into this remake, it's blatantly obvious at this point if it already wasn't.
